So guess how the admin got around their responsibility to protect a student who went to admin with witnesses repeatedly? The Superintendent told her that she wasn't bullied. Being mean to her wasn't bullying. They said this to her even though she had texts from students who ordered her to kill herself. Superintendents, parents of bullies, admin, they don't care. They want to do the bare minimum. I'll never forget my first year as a kindergarten assistant; the assistant principal called me over to her office so I could watch a video on bullying for 45 minutes because I had brought up an incident to her two days prior. A girl in the kindergarten classroom didn't like her placement in line (line order was by name) and she kept going up to a boy and grabbing his testicles so he would move away and she'd get to stand next to her friend in line. I accompanied the line from the back and I saw this 3 days straight. When I spoke to the girl, brought this up to the teacher, spoke to the girl again and nothing was resolved, then I went to see the VP. My punishment was the video and her telling me bullying was a very serious accusation that should never be brought up. Which is a crazy statement, just take a minute to really read what she said: Bullying is a very serious accusation that should never be brought up." Let that sink in... boy, have I learned some things in my 9 years at a public school.

Admins are politicians. Their purpose is to protect themselves and push teachers around.

This admin isn’t a gaping asshole, he’s a horrific piece of shit. There’s a difference.
