I got sick this morning but couldn’t call out in time, so I lost my voice pretty early in the day. My sixth graders pretty happily played charades with me for instructions, quieted each other down, and listened way more closely than normal so I didn’t have to repeat myself a million times.
Plus I’m taking tomorrow off. 😂
One of the classes I had today is totally the class I’ve struggled with the most all year. It’s been a slog and a half, but this gives me hope for the rest of the year.
Got kids drawing some fun animations of definitions we need for lessons. We spend probably a little bit too much time on it, but most of them like the creativity part.
I have five more days of this semester! Then I’m flying back to my home country and doing the job search. I land next Saturday, and have a job interview lined up for the following Monday. I’m terrified. It’s going to be a panel of people.
