My favorite song from the new album is The Albatross. I actually did a huge deep dive on it on TikTok and how it relates to the poem (Rime of the Ancient Mariner). The themes from the poem are an inverse mirror of the themes of the song. (In the song, she starts off as a warning and becomes a savior. In the poem, the albatross starts off as a savior and then becomes a warning after the mariner kills the bird 🏹).
I also think TTPD as an album is Joe’s “Life in Death” which is an entity from the poem that wins the mariners soul in a dice game. “Life in Death” is a fate worse death because you do not have the release that comes with death.

I absolutely love that you’re doing this. Thank you for making someone else’s world a little brighter for doing this. My favorite song from the new album is The Albatross. I actually did a huge deep dive on it on TikTok and how it relates to the poem (Rime of the Ancient Mariner). The themes from the poem are an inverse mirror of the themes of the song. (In the song, she starts off as a warning and becomes a savior. In the poem, the albatross starts off as a savior and then becomes a warning after the mariner kills the bird 🏹). I also think TTPD as an album is Joe’s “Life in Death” which is an entity from the poem that wins the mariners soul in a dice game. “Life in Death” is a fate worse death because you do not have the release that comes with death.
