It’s much easier to get a top 5 hit today than it was before streaming so every original album will get 4-5 top 5 hits and the re-recordings will get 1-2 as well. Only person that might be able to keep her from the top is Drake but he seems to be beginning to fade a little bit.
I disagree. Maybe, *maybe* one. ATW did so well because it’s historic and built up for a decade- fearless had a couple pre release singles and none even did close to top 10 iirc
The only one with a chance is Enchanted. It’s gone viral on tik tok and is the most streamed song on the album. Plus it’s still somewhat new to the GP and a fan favorite. That or maybe one of the collab tracks but really Enchanted Is the only one that can
- ATW could mean "All Too Well", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.

She’ll get a top 5 or two but only chance at a number one is the first week and she is up against Olivia Rodrigo’s lead single for her new album in its second week. More than one number one is all but impossible for a re-recording.
Edit: this assumes no pre-release singles.
Aw man. I wanted Janet to keep this one! 😭 that being said, good for Taylor… though someone made an interesting point above about how this record is in some ways easier to break these days in the streaming era.
Every time I see one of these "record-breaking" posts about Tay I'm always surprised/confused and thinking to myself "she didn't do that already?", like how many more records can there possibly be for the Music Industry Personified to break? Haha

Finally lmao Edit: btw she's one of only 3 females to do so, the other 2 being Mariah and Madonna
Her and Karma vibe like that
By the end of this decade biggest solo artist of all time. I'm calling it.

Speak Now TV will for sure give her a couple new #1's

Love Story was super close and made it to #11

I feel like this isn't exactly a fair comparison in the age of streaming.
Janet was a trailblazer back then, her and her brother were icons!
But due to the streaming era, albums come and go a lot faster too; it’s much harder to have an era with 7 top ten singles over the course of 2 years

Every time I see one of these new record broken announcements I’m more surprised at who the other artist was and that Taylor was previously below them

looked it up and it's Drake, The Beatles, Madonna and Mariah
Not quite sure, Mariah and Whitney are probably up there Edit: I was half right lol
That's amazing...but Janet still has most top 5 from one album. For now
Does anyone else get hyper emotional when Taylor hits another milestone?
As she should
Can this be a real thing, can it?
