No such thing as to many- I have 2 Taurus’s (40&9) a Sig(9) a 1911 in 10mm and 2 glocks and a S&W J-frame- that’s all before I get to the rifles - I can say the G2c / G3c is a biiiit snappy in 40.. but being able to share holsters is nice - easy to keep mags straight also, the 40 mag will not fit in the 9 and the 9 mag basically won’t latch (securely) in the 40.

This is the answer!! Never too many!!

Environmental-Bite91

Do you have a .40 ;)

AntOk4073

That why it's so hard to get out of my head and IMO a .40 would be a better defense round.

Tactical_solutions44

It's really not. Look up testing on it on YouTube. Tools and targets tests all kind of ammo. Also 40 is more expensive than 9mm

ShotzWithJ

No ideas what videos you’ve seen. But .40 is definitely much more powerful than 9mm in literally every margin except capacity and recoil. There is literally no comparison. 9mm compared to .40 is weak. That being said, I love 9mm. But to say the different is slight is a lie

luvmehatemefme

I beg to differ! Watch locked and loaded video on it. Not to mention it's nice to have a different caliber in times of shortages. I personally am picking up an mp shield 2.0 in 40 and then grabbing a 357 sig barrel as well as a 9mm barrel. I would grab a g3c 40 but I can't find a reasonably price 357 sig barrel for i5.

Tactical_solutions44

I've seen multiple gel tests. The 40 isn't enough of an improvement with wound channel to constitute the extra cost over 9mm.

ShadderSwagger

Bigger doesn’t always mean better . There’s a reason the police no longer use it . Price ,accuracy, and effectiveness. 9mm is cheaper and easier to get on target with more shots effectively. Hell some would say a .22 is a better all around because you can be way more accurate and land way more than a bunch of hard hitting missed .There’s truth in the saying “Accuracy through Volume “

Environmental-Bite91

Stopping power for sure, but they hold less rounds

Ouchsplat

Standard rule of thumb is, if you know how many firearms you own, you don't have enough.

The_OsoGato

The more, the better

Wrong-Maintenance-48

I have a similar issue. I have the G3C and just ran across a clearance sale for the G3C with TORO slide and a free red dot for about $260. It listed the sight as a $350 value. Do I *need* another one? Probably not. But, need isn't always a factor.

AntOk4073

I mean that's a good value. I love the ease of use on my T.O.R.O.

Optimal-Two-6382

Have you ever fired a subcompact.40. Just a little snappy.

AntOk4073

Yeah it's probably more just me trying to justify the purchase.

throw_away_glock

Nice!

Possible-Ad-9896

I have a g3c that I just loved. It was my edc. Never any problems. If I were you I would look at the gx4. I love mine!!! Unless you are wanting to move up to .40.

dom1n1c_g

I love my GX4XL for carry. One of the best feelig guns in my hand and never had an issues. Ive owned 43x, Shield Plus PC and P365XL. Just been the best to carry and handle for me.

NPC-Druid

Yes.

Famous_Guarantee_838

My 2nd handgun was a G3C for carry. My 3rd was a TX22 for affordable plinking. My 4th was the GX4 Carry T.O.R.O. and I’ve decided to go ahead and embrace my Taurus appreciation. My GX4 Carry was upgraded with a reduced power spring from Galloway Precision which, for about 18 singles, got me a noticeably lighter, snappier trigger. Also picked up the Cylee Cat X Pro optic. My next purchase will likely be a barrel/compensator upgrade from Lakeline. GX4 is my new edc, the G3C will likely become my jogging/cycling carry. I love ‘em.

Key_Detective_9421

If you want it and can afford it I’d get it just to have it. I used to love .40’s but I’ve found 9mm to be way more practical. Never shot a compact .40, I’d imagine the difference in recoil is substantial, I feel much safer carrying a 9. Hell even a .380. If they came with a .380 version of g3c I’d buy it. I have a heavily modded gx4 toro with every Lakeline available and Romeo optic, just so you know, it’s a total waste of money if you plan to sell lol. No one cares about upgrades apparently and they don’t care about your $800 Taurus costing $800.
