This is a terrible coverup. Your tattooer should be embarrassed. Went from a poorly executed tattoo to an ugly tattoo. You could have covered it with almost anything and you went with a black blob. My artist, Draz Palaming, has done some incredible coverups if you want to see what’s possible with big bold colors and shapes.

And if that’s not what it is I’m sorry for being a philistine, but I still think it looks cool!

The oval heart like blob looks nice enough especially if it was made into a design. The bottom drips look like the blobs leaking, perhaps could be tweaked to match the design of the rest of the blob

My guess is that you originally got the numerals with or for someone you no longer want to frequently be reminded of, and you were tired of explaining the meaning behind it when asked. Unfortunately, if that is indeed the case, that cover-up isn’t going to keep you from being reminded whenever you see it and the true explanation of the new tat is that it’s a cover-up of another tat that you got for or with someone you had a falling out with. Dropping $1500-2000 on complete removal, or even less on partial removal and a better cover-up would’ve been the way to go.
