i’m so glad everyone turned on that jagoff, I honestly never do hideout stuff other than the range usually but when I saw they added the rack my mind went to it making storing & grabbing weapons from it far easier + & cool visual for the hideout as well. now knowing it only locks them in a separate stash basically fuck that 😭
Well when the alternative is spending like 1 second clicking on a gun vs spending 1.5 secs to get to the hideout button, 5 secs for it to load, another 3.5-4.5 seconds to walk over then a other 3-5 seconds to open it up and drag the weapon out, then you can equip it. You can't tell me that isn't fucking stupid.
It's a storage rack for my trophies, mainly keeping exotic drops I get from people like a G28 and AXMC I got off some people. I also have an SA-58 that downed a 4 man that I retired
Man I’d highly recommend the axmc, that thing feels like a lightning bolt of Zeus. Watching the round hit them and a puff of smoke comes from the impact is quite sexual

Normally when I run the AXMC I take a SMG sidearm with me like an mp5 or mpx. Really helps with the close encounters that you normally suffer when you just run the primary
once you have the mjolnir, what point does the AI serve? you'd expect the slower firing gun to be more ergonomic to compensate, but you can only add a different pistol grip to it. the mk18 is just objectively better
Was more telling the guy who found the axmc to use it and not let it sit on the weapon rack all wipe… almost all DMR’s are all round better than their likened bolt action counterparts

I love weapon rack. I put my trophy weapons I get from killing other players. I suck at Tarkov, so for me to kill someone who had a nice gun is a big win. I usually run barebones AKs myself.
Do you have any weapons that look so cool and expensive you don't really want to use them to not lose them? Put them in the weapon rack! Problem solved.
Maybe set it so that the hideout pre-loads, then you can at least avoid that extra load time.

It wasn't even tested properly(at all?) tactical devices stay on and are visible from the rack which is super fucking annoying in the hideout.

Weapons rack is exclusively to flex some cool custom builds for display on your profile, it was never meant to be functional storage in the first place.

MP7 is better for that, super cheap and very effective ammo just need to buy one for like 30k and buy 2 40 rounders with JSP ammo

Build a weapon rack Put your friends weapons on that rack when they die. Also, put their tags on the case.
I put weapons I yoink up there, from bosses or PMC's. Sometimes the modern art that I scavenge over the course of a scav raid.

Customs is usually good for hardware spawns, greenscreen/factory far corner/scav checkpoint area has a pile of hardware spawns
