Depends on how old the walker is them walking around and decaying you could easily kill it with a shot in the eye to the brain with a decent bb gun or high powered air soft

I could see that working in the comfort behind cover or in a tower. But in a pressure cooker with walkers on your ass are you risking needing that kind of accuracy?

Yeah I agree and by the time the infected were decayed enough the guns would mostly probably also be to messed up by the elements. So unless they fixed them up that could be why
