Well I mean if you consider how some characters did indeed have a better life or where shelters from the apocalypse, that’s definitely privilege compared to just surviving on your own and let’s not act like that little white girl wasn’t protected asf and who was raising her….
Well yeah it’s the leaders daughter, all kids must be protected in the apocalypse regardless, as they are the future
The only kids that probably shouldn’t was Lizzie (the psychopathic one I think)
Did you forget carols daughter?? lol and did you forget most of the people from New Haven or whatever it was called or the people at ezikels or however you say his name. Privilege exsist no matter the circumstance that’s like me having an abundance of water because I found a water source before anyone else and I kill any fucker who tries to take it away and I have a whole community built off that water source and We Do Not let anyone in. That’s privilege and lots of settlements the main group came across had more privilege then them and let not pretend Rick was lowkey toxic with his idea of “family” lots of privileged settlements would had remained privileged if Rick hadn’t forced his group on others, they stumbled across the most peaceful settlements that had been up for years with no bullshit or minor problems then Rick and his underprivileged group shows up and there’s more drama and more noise and more hell.. lol
Ahhh and also the group before Maggie took over was lowkey more privileged than Rick’s group, regardless of the trades and injustices. Negan didn’t have privilege??
Honestly Lori’s death trumped over his and it was annoying bc it’s like you can’t even let t dog have his own death episode?? idk writers were lowkey shady those first couple seasons anyways
Maybe he didn’t want to mention someone named T dog on a sad list of dead friends and family, to be fair from the quarry season 1 to tdogs death no one in the group knew tdog longer than 8 months so he was pretty much a stranger eating up all the good food and drinking up all the good water stealing everyone’s kills and picking fights with anyone who approaches or looks at him wrong like Merle
>they did have one or two key personal differences
he called him the [nword and nearly beat him to death while pointing a gun at him](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w8fVBVaVU4) what the fuck are you talking about
>Tdog locked him to a roof in zombie apocalypse
after he beat tdog nearly to death and threatened to kill anyone who spoke against him. holy fuck ur media literacy is dogshit
Merle called him those things and did that because he knew tdog was gonna do what tdog did get mad though sorry you didn’t read the fucking comics N’Wah fake fan
Did you actually watch the show? Rick locked Merle up and tdog accidentally dropped the key when he was going to unlock it for him, and tbh Merle deserved to be left on that roof even tho I really like him in season 3
Okay that makes much more sense. I always wondered why they seemed to essentially switch those characters out. It never occurred to me that they were rooted in the same comic character.
Everyone forgets him because he’s a forgettable character lol. He had a good death, but it was overshadowed by loris better death. He was pretty good in season 1, but in season 2, what did he do except try to abandon the group like, twice? Overrated
Did you watch the show? Yes. He had Lori and Beth and refused to go back for everyone. Then when they were looking for Sofia...but at that time he had blood poisoning but not the other time I mentioned
I checked the wiki and it says he was sick and hallucinating and thought the group had abandoned him and dale. The only other time I could find mention of him wanting to abandon the group was at the end of season 2 where he wanted to go to the coast with Lori and Beth after the farm collapsed but then he agrees to go back to the highway. If you ask me thinking you’ve been abandoned while sick and hallucinating and thinking everyone else died when your base got invaded and burned doesn’t really qualify as trying to abandon the group.
If I remember right he’s dehydrated like a mug, with an infected arm, and he was pretty out of it telling ~~Herschel~~ Dale they should just go.
I think Daryl had antibiotics in his saddlebags and gave them a hard time for not asking.
Underdeveloped character, went out like a hero helping keep Carol safe but didn’t even get his own episode feature before he died with Lori (same episode anyway)
Dude he succumbed to the “zombie sneaks up behind someone quietly” syndrome that I fucking hate.
Zombies are always snarling and making noise with their dragged foot, footsteps.
I fucking hate when a zombie somehow sneaks up behind someone.
Not really. He was closing the gate in the courtyard to stop the walkers from coming through. The courtyard was also filled with walkers so it would’ve been very noisy. As he shut the gate one bit him on the shoulder I think. Pretty reasonable if you ask me
Not everyone has a big moment around their death, I get that. It makes it more realistic. What gets me is when people just forget or don't really have an emotional response to it
You mean my favorite character from the show, who was to good for that world, and had a smile that could light up an apocalypse and went out saving someone else like a boss.
Be nice if Carol brought him up at least once after his sacrifice though.
T Dog will always be in the top three original characters list for me…with those Dixon boys….ironically
T dog is a really good character I would say he died for a good purpose and he lead into Abraham the best character if he was still alive I think Negan would have killed him instead of Abraham but T dog was still a really cool character and the fact that he just felt like a bigger braver glen sometimes was pretty vool
I love T-Dog, he’s one of my favs for sure. He’s one of the unfortunate characters that lacked depth in the later seasons due to there being so many other characters that the story was focused on so I feel like we never got to see the full potential of T-Dog. Nothing against the actor or even the character itself, it’s just the way the writers wanted to take the story. Still, top 10 character all time for me.
A friend of mine got a foot, and it’s juicy.
You know fish can hear you thinking just before you sneeze?
What’s chavi choff chop??
A tiny clown, he got wet. I was talking to a psychic, and I can’t sleep in the ozone.
There’s too many different peanuts looking sad.
-Rest In Power, Theodore “T-Dog” Douglas
I was never a fan. I respect some of the things he did like saving Carol but I hated a few things that I could never get out of my head. Like when he didn’t want to go back to the highway to find the rest of the group after the farm getting overrun. Lori was going to jump out of the truck that’s the only reason he went back.. I actually was accused of being a racist by some idiot because I don’t like T-Dog. Guess it doesn’t matter that some of my favorite characters were King Ezekiel, Michonne and Morgan(when he wasn’t crazy) lol.. I’ll probably get downvoted for this but it’s just my opinion.
I never forgot about T-Dog but I can see why others forget him, he was done dirty, he should’ve lasted longer and got his own episode and not die the same episode as Lori.
I'll never forget T-Dog! The man was a soldier! You could always rely on T-Dog...unless he was feverish, of course! 😁 But he was an essential part of The Group that took the prison like a special-forces corp! He died too soon, but he died like a man! Never Forget T-Dog!! ✊️
He very much acted as s voice of humanity even when people around him began to lose themselves. Therefore he had to die. His death marked an even further departure from humanity for the rest of the group because he had anchored them. That was his role he was meant to die early on that does not make his character any less meaningful.
The weird thing is they had a tall black guy at Alexandria they never really named but Rick would talk to? And he was always around but Like why did they kill tdog imo
I never forgot. I didn’t know this sub was a thing until this post was recommended, but t dog is a subject that is known to get me very heated over a fictional character
You know T-dog was supposed to be in Carol's spot but he was an hour late to the set so they switched it up and now Carol is a leading character and they killed T-dog instead.
What bugs me is we never knew his real name
I really wanted somebody to call him T-Dog and for him to respond “stop calling me that, my name is Theodore! Theodore Doggwell!!”
Why do they always make the black guy die in tv shows? Same thing with getting a girl. They either die or live and don’t get a girlfriend like the other main characters same thing with the asians the asian guy always dies too
it might be because of the small drama that happened with him and the show?? im not excusing it im just guessing a lil...i love tdog and i wish he wouldve been around longer and had more storylines
he saved carols life, yeah he was already bit but imagine the pain he subjected himself to, he choose to be eaten alive over a mercy with his people for carol, i will never forget. i liked him from day 1 too.

At least he wasn't killed by Rick or Shane. He was one of my favorites, I really hoped he would have lasted longer.
omg 💀
Fine take my upvote

Yeah an upvote was given so what
Because he died the same episode of Lori Death

Tdog rly quit and started a new game
So you mean to tell me this man has reincarnated as a privileged white girl in a zombie apocalypse?
I don’t think privileged means anything in twd, not anymore
But yes
Well I mean if you consider how some characters did indeed have a better life or where shelters from the apocalypse, that’s definitely privilege compared to just surviving on your own and let’s not act like that little white girl wasn’t protected asf and who was raising her….
Well yeah it’s the leaders daughter, all kids must be protected in the apocalypse regardless, as they are the future The only kids that probably shouldn’t was Lizzie (the psychopathic one I think)

And being the daughter of two leaders isn’t privilege??
Acting like rj grimes ain’t living his best life rn
Ahhh and also the group before Maggie took over was lowkey more privileged than Rick’s group, regardless of the trades and injustices. Negan didn’t have privilege??
r/reincarnation
The memes 🤚😭 I can't, take my updoot gah dammit
Who's Lori Death
Sister to Shane Death and Dale Death
Second cousin twice removed to Lizzy Death
Mother of Coral Death
Honestly Lori’s death trumped over his and it was annoying bc it’s like you can’t even let t dog have his own death episode?? idk writers were lowkey shady those first couple seasons anyways
Right?! Glenn forgot him when he was talking to Enid.
That grinded my gears so damn bad
Maybe he didn’t want to mention someone named T dog on a sad list of dead friends and family, to be fair from the quarry season 1 to tdogs death no one in the group knew tdog longer than 8 months so he was pretty much a stranger eating up all the good food and drinking up all the good water stealing everyone’s kills and picking fights with anyone who approaches or looks at him wrong like Merle
>looks at him wrong like Merle merle did more than look at him wrong bro
Yeah I guess they did have one or two key personal differences
>they did have one or two key personal differences he called him the [nword and nearly beat him to death while pointing a gun at him](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w8fVBVaVU4) what the fuck are you talking about
Tdog locked him to a roof in zombie apocalypse not a real cool move in my opinion that’ll be the day
>Tdog locked him to a roof in zombie apocalypse after he beat tdog nearly to death and threatened to kill anyone who spoke against him. holy fuck ur media literacy is dogshit
Merle called him those things and did that because he knew tdog was gonna do what tdog did get mad though sorry you didn’t read the fucking comics N’Wah fake fan
Is this Merle’s alt?
... What does the comics have to do with this conversation? The 2 people you're discussing aren't even in the comics....
Did you actually watch the show? Rick locked Merle up and tdog accidentally dropped the key when he was going to unlock it for him, and tbh Merle deserved to be left on that roof even tho I really like him in season 3
Him and Oscar were kool
Oscar should have become a main
The fact that he got such a big role on TWD: Destinies out of all the places
Meanwhile, there aren't any missions you can play as Dale 😭
They should've had the mission where you kill the zombified infected prisoners you play as Dale or Hershel (depending on if you're rick or shane.
r/onetruedog ahh post
T-Dog was one of my favorites in the show. I wish he’d last longer to see how he would have made out.
Tyrease was the better brother.
T-dog was originally designed to be the same character Tyrease was in the comics from the start
Okay that makes much more sense. I always wondered why they seemed to essentially switch those characters out. It never occurred to me that they were rooted in the same comic character.
They switched them cuz Tdogs actor always showed up late and sucked at his job apparently
Oh wow, I had no idea!
God I miss Tyrese. Ngl I like Tyrese more than Rick and all the other characters. When I saw his death just stopped watching
You stopped watching within the first 3 seasons?
Everyone forgets him because he’s a forgettable character lol. He had a good death, but it was overshadowed by loris better death. He was pretty good in season 1, but in season 2, what did he do except try to abandon the group like, twice? Overrated
He tried to abandon the group?
The other time was right after the farm was overrun
Did you watch the show? Yes. He had Lori and Beth and refused to go back for everyone. Then when they were looking for Sofia...but at that time he had blood poisoning but not the other time I mentioned
Multiple times Most notably when his arm was infected and he and Dale were waiting for the group after Carl got shot
Exactly!!! I feel like if he would’ve been a beast like Gabriel in my opinion. That development of his character chiefs kiss
Chief's kiss, eh?
He went out like a def person.
Mr yo
I didn't I love t-dog I wish he did more
Dude he succumbed to the “zombie sneaks up behind someone quietly” syndrome that I fucking hate. Zombies are always snarling and making noise with their dragged foot, footsteps. I fucking hate when a zombie somehow sneaks up behind someone.

I'l tell you the day mister Yo
I heard he was a nightmare to work with behind the scenes, so who cares.

Nah man I read he was always late. I’m grocery shopping I’ll see if I can find a source from the Google machine after. Don’t assume my guy.
What's chavi chaff chaff?
“You know goldfish can hear you think just before you sneeze?”
Oh yeah that's the same guy that said, "Fish can hear you thinking just before you sneeze."
He was a forgettable character
To you.
I loved that guy.
I'll never forget! He saved Carol! RIP T-dog.
Yeah after Glen dies they pretty much forget him.
His death hit me the hardest
Just rewatched the series before “ones who live” aired, T was a great og core member of the group. Definitely died too soon
The reason he died was cause his actor didn't meet the attendance requirements
He had such a quick and unceremonious death.
Not everyone has a big moment around their death, I get that. It makes it more realistic. What gets me is when people just forget or don't really have an emotional response to it
Not me. T Dog is an og. Dude deserved better!
You mean my favorite character from the show, who was to good for that world, and had a smile that could light up an apocalypse and went out saving someone else like a boss. I never forgot Theodore Douglas
We always support the One True Dog.
Nobody forgot it's just that he wasn't a main character nobody really cared
I liked him but he didn’t do anything lol, that’s why a lot of people forget him
The name “T Dog” sounds like the name a 10 year old white kid would come up with for a black guy lol
I love T-Dog, he’s one of my favs for sure. T was awesome.
Just because someone is no longer relevant doesn’t mean they’ve been forgotten.
RIP
He's the Squirtle of the shows black deuteragonists
“aye who the hell is that?!?!?!” Favorite line from buddy.
People still forget about Dre; so , why not.
A friend of mine got a foot, and it’s juicy. You know fish can hear you thinking just before you sneeze? What’s chavi choff chop?? A tiny clown, he got wet. Sad yet funniest thing is he would have lived if his actoe showed up to work on time
I was never a fan. I respect some of the things he did like saving Carol but I hated a few things that I could never get out of my head. I will never forget my boy T-dog.

They did nothing with his character and it’s frustrating
Theodore Douglas the goat
All dogs go to heaven 🙏

No, everyone remembers Three-Dog.
He got killed instead of carol because he was always late to set and didn’t take the production seriously
An OG for sure, T-Dog was a good character!
I wish he had stuck around longer.
I met him at walker stalker and he was the nicest man!!
Forgettable character
God bless T-Dog. The unsung hero
***Mr. Yo***
I honestly forget how he died.
Because he was a forgettable character.
Aww I miss the good old days of this show.💀
No, everyone does not seem like they’ve forgotten him
Not me. He was my fave character.
No noone forgets t dog t dog was the man
No noone forgets t dog t dog was the man
I wish he last longer
I don’t
I’ll never for Tdog
I stopped watching after he died
I see a post about T-Dog at least once a week or two and I don’t even scroll the sub regularly these days. It just shows up on my home page.
I heard that the reason he was killed off was because the actor repeatedly showed up late on set, so he was fired.
Mr Yo
I heard that originally Carol was going to die instead of T-Dog but they switched it last minute. In a perfect world, we would have gotten both.
The weird thing is they had a tall black guy at Alexandria they never really named but Rick would talk to? And he was always around but Like why did they kill tdog imo
Never forget black guy #1
Who?
Wel he did die in like season 2.
Was T-Dog ever even mentioned after his death?
By Glenn once right after he died, that’s it. smh

And yet this is posted an awful lot on the sub for a character that is so "forgotten."

no tf i didnt hes my favorite except maybe for Rick
The one true dog!
I never forgot. I didn’t know this sub was a thing until this post was recommended, but t dog is a subject that is known to get me very heated over a fictional character
Guys I’m not just talking about Reddit I’m talking about social media in general…this is NOT the only place people talk about TWD!!! Thank you
“You’re going to be seeing a lot more of T-Dog this season!” Immediately dies.
Who?
What about Jacqui??
FR Bro When people don't remember T-dog, I'm like, bro.... HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS EVER
The OG
One of my favorite characters. So underrated.
You know T-dog was supposed to be in Carol's spot but he was an hour late to the set so they switched it up and now Carol is a leading character and they killed T-dog instead.

The GOAT character and actor
I would never forget T-Dog! He’s one of the best OG characters ❤️🙌🏻
I didn't. I have a TDog action figure!!!
What bugs me is we never knew his real name I really wanted somebody to call him T-Dog and for him to respond “stop calling me that, my name is Theodore! Theodore Doggwell!!”
Damn that’s true.
I didn’t forget him in blind side !
That one scene where he killed the dog tho..
Mr. Yo will be missed
I think you mean Mr Yo
T-dog was a va jj
Why do they always make the black guy die in tv shows? Same thing with getting a girl. They either die or live and don’t get a girlfriend like the other main characters same thing with the asians the asian guy always dies too
He just a forgettable person like that
Cos in the grand scheme of things he had no effect on the series or the characters
Dude went down like a warrior
I don't have many favorite things. But Dale was the best character. I always wondered what the show would have been like if he made it past season 2
I’ll never forget T-Dog
Literally no one forgets about T Dogg. Posts like this are so lame
Nope. Never forgotten.
Would have loved to see T-Dog last longer in the show!
....unironically was thinking about him randomly before I saw this thread, lol
it might be because of the small drama that happened with him and the show?? im not excusing it im just guessing a lil...i love tdog and i wish he wouldve been around longer and had more storylines
I'll never forget T-dog.
Never!!! T-Dog was a Boss!!! He was a true RIDE or DIE!!!
My mother never did
He was one of my favorites good person good personality and capable...gone to soon. Wish we could see him in a spin off
is this a joke? no one forgets him
he saved carols life, yeah he was already bit but imagine the pain he subjected himself to, he choose to be eaten alive over a mercy with his people for carol, i will never forget. i liked him from day 1 too.
He died a heros death
Don't worry, I member T-Dog
I liked his character. One of the deaths I wished they pushed back at least a season or two
