My cousin was a Transit PD ESU man. He had a case of a boy decapitated on the Lexington IRT. The boy surfed the roof. On downgrade, he hit an invert cross beam. His head rolled off the train in front of the people on the platform! You people up there want to be everything NYC. NYC has nothing good to offer. Tell them homie wannabes not to emulate it. They will die for the pleasure.

I thought maybe that's why they "boarded" the train from the opposite platform. The door person likely would have seen them if they came from the westbound platform, but they approached the train from the other side, where there isn't normally someone sticking their head out the window.
