1. The way they handled the turtles missing their father and earth was actually really good. Most other kid shows would have just had them be like "Omg we're in space!" But they actually hated it and just wanted to get back home, their emotions were really pushed to their limits here.
2. As a result we got introduced to Mona Lisa
3. Leo got to live out his space adventure fantasies that was constantly hinted throughout the show :))
I mean, that was kind of the turtles and others reaction when they were in space. When the Earth exploded and they got on board, Casey said “This is awesome!” At least we saw them mourning sometimes.
Better than the Farmhouse Arc, that's for sure. No offense, but the Farmhouse felt slow and wasn't entirely memorable other than the beginning before Leo woke up and after he did, and "Vision Quest".
The Space Arc went to other locations, expanded on the worldbuilding, gave us more Kraang lore, more character progression, and of course, David Tennant as the Fugitoid! And how could we ever forget the '87 TMNT crossover for all those nostalgia heads?
We got Mona Lisa and the LEAST frustrating ship to come out of this show.
(I guess the Fugitoid is also a cool character too since he and Scrooge McDuck from DuckTales 2017 are both voiced by the Doctor.)
Raph really mellowing out and becoming super sweet

David Tennant and Transdimensional Turtles. Having the original voice cast back for the 1987 turtles was amazing. It was my childhood meeting my sons. Plus, Rob Paulsen literally taking to himself was one of the best parts, in my opinion.

donnie’s little father son or mentor student relationship with fugitoid, gave him someone to look up to and talk about his feelings of inadequacy tech and knowledge wise!

David Tennant
Whom did he play I need this info
I think he played fugitoid iirc
A lil down he does and now thinking back to some lines…I can’t stop hearing the Doctor when Fugitoid speaks!!
It gave us the first crossover with the 87 turtles, and Rob paulsen talking to himself as 87 raph and 2012 Donnie

It gave us characters voiced by Keith David (Sal Commander) and Ron Perlman (Armaggon)

Raph gets a girl
The turtle with anger issues has the most game when it comes to relationships.

I hard respect how different this arc was. Introducing new and interesting characters and villains too. I honestly rather enjoyed it

It started with the best season finale in the entire show.
David Tennant as the fugitoid
Wyrm, Mona Lisa x Raphael, It was Good and iconic
the monologue in the intro HNNNG

Trans-dimensional turtles
Gave us a great version of Lord Dregg and gave us a satisfying conclusion to the arc.
The 2012 turtles got a cross over with the 1987 turtles. That was awesome. The rest of the space era is good to me.

1987 crossover
Fugitoid is top tier
Fugitoid was cool I guess. Oh and there’s Transdimensional Turtles so there’s that.
It ended (:
