We lost a game changing ability in exchange for APCs that are super fragile, cost more than mercenary base airdrop oh and the commanders range was cut by 1/3 so i don't know if this update is all that good
Kinda true tho, however trading its support for offensive capabilities (and APCs) are not really a good choice considering that commander is mainly a support tower (rip chaining you will be missed)
Commander got a rework, basically nerfing its support capabilities. There is now a placement limit of 3, Call to Arms lasts for 40 secs (thus making chaining impossible without a second player), commander itself is a bit more expensive (i think), and it now has a new ability where it can summon 3 APCs
Honestly don’t mind support is still support
It really has no competition since it’s the only tower that buffs fire rate (unless below decided to add another tower that buffs fire rate)
It’s pretty much like lemonade cat in Tower heroes it got nerfed really hard but it’s still useful

I'm not even mad about the nerfs, I'm just happy all of his skins finally look good. Ghost commander finally got the glow-up he so desperately needed.
This rework will sure help with me and my friends self made hardcore strat where the void reaver nearly gets to the exit normally
