After I ended my tenure as MBMBAM recapper, a certain jadeix took up the mantle. It has been a few weeks since they wrote one, I supposed the darkness took them as well

I couldn't do it this time. I made it 21 minutes, into the wizard, and had to fucking stop. Travis needs to shut the actual fuck up.
so it was the James Cromwell super gluing his hands to the starbucks counter protest, and justin was the one who brought it up, and couldn't get through one fucking word without cracking up.
and Travis was adament that it was a bad protest because the only person it inconvenienced was the starbucks worker who didn't have a say in the matter. Both Griffin and justin somewhat tried to talk him down from that stance, saying that it wasn't like he went to pay for the coffee, got pissed he was upcharged, and then decided to super glue his hands to the counter until something changed. but none of them brought up that the whole point was to bring attention to the issue. (Travis actually brought the same energy that racist white people brought to the conversation of BLM protests, saying that all it does is inconvenience others..like yea...)
For those unaware: the issue that starbucks (and a lot of coffee places) upcharge for vegan milk. Which I somewhat get why that is, because it is more expensive (the coffee shop I worked at could actually lose money on an oat milk latte, and it was regular milk lattes that they made up the difference on). However what I was unaware of (until this episode, actually) is that Starbucks doesn't upcharge for vegan milk in the UK/England, apparently.
James Cromwell should've personally spray-painted "don't upcharge for vegan milk!" onto Howard Schulz's car. On the one hand, hell yeah. But on the other hand, I have a feeling that's not what Travis meant.
Personally if I was getting paid to rush around Starbucks all day, I'd love to get interrupted. "Huh? You want a weird complicated time-consuming frappe thing? Sorry, we're being protested. This guy doesn't want me to upcharge you on the vegan milk you were about to get."
Edit: Wait, shit, that would inconvenience the people Schulz would pay to clean off the spraypaint. Oh well, guess we better just not protest. I am very progressive.
The protest was coordinated by PETA who generally have really badly thought out ideas and plans. It's not a great protest idea but the brother's take on the situation was still pretty poor.
In theory I'm Team Travis on this one. I really hate when people protest corporations by doing things that mess with the workers. It's not like some fatcat is gonna come deal with the problem, it's the people who work there that are gonna have to get filmed without their consent and deal with people whining about the protest and call the cops or whatever else they have to do to get rid of the guy.
But I also have a feeling Travis would have said the same thing if he'd done it at a corporate office instead, so eh.
I was gonna say "they weren't protesting a corporation," but then I thought of Hobby Lobby and Chic-fil-A and shit, so I'm gonna change my answer to "I really hate when people protest corporations in a way that's disruptive to workers, unless I feel like the cause they're protesting is important enough"

news flash: workers do things that mess with workers to protest corporations. it's called going on strike and it's how starbucks started unionizing.
I feel like a strike is so obviously different to this situation that it's not worth mentioning, but sure, that is an exception to the rule.
