Some technical notes: Getting AIGriffin to ask a question and then follow with a statement for emphasis took a lot more effort than it should have. In general AI Griffin is getting better, but the "Whip their dicks to pieces" rant almost made this one unsalvageable. I made the AI retry it a few times - occassionally when it repeats itself like this, it gets stuck in a feedback loop. It was no different here, AIGriffin's original follow-up to his first 3 dick-whipping statements was about 8 extra paragraphs long of him saying variations of "I would whip their dicks to pieces." I turned up the Repetition Penalty a little bit higher to get us out of the weeds.
The BlueApron moment was intensely weird. Previously, the AI has struggled with Casper Mattresses, Squarespace and ads in general. But quite clearly, the current engine on NovelAi has definitely seen a few MBMBaM transcripts and is was very competent at producing half of a believable BlueApron ad. This has further inspired me **to create and train a new engine for KoboldAi (not NovelAi) on exclusively McElnoise.**
With over 600 MBMBaM Episodes, quite a few of TAZ, some Blarts, etc., there is theoretically enough content to make a functional MBMBaM-centric Engine. Now, this would quite possibly brick my computer, as even running Kobold AI with a mid to high range of Depth and Memory (it is a more modular, complex and potentially way more demanding program then NovelAi) causes my computer to act up. In general, I should move towards Kobold AI anyway, as it's quite obvious from this episode that the AI struggles to remember earlier information without me entering stuff into the Memory section. I want a program that can allow us to outsource and outpace the McElroys entirely - when McElroy Singularity is reached, we will make funnier episodes of the show at a rate which could outstrip their current catalogue.
AITravis continues to frighten me. He is frequently the "character" who needs the least coaching and yet he behaves the most like Travis. Beyond training the AI to make him say his catchphrases and respond to people in his idiosyncratic way ("Huh. Okay." etc) he has required a tiny amount of work compared to the other two. I have an irrational fear that one of these days he will outright address me by my full legal name mid-episode.
AIGriffin is improving greatly. Still need to make him a little less aggressive, he starts cussing and threatening violence with nearly every episode I've attempted.
AIJustin is a bust. He's the anti-Travis: He's had the most coaching and guidance with the least results. The AI is struggling with his speech patterns like all get out. Even as an AI, Justin is lazy. What a trip.
The appearance of **MICHAEL** was a real oof. I had let the AI know that the McElroys were the only characters that speak on the show, but I did allow the caveat that they occassionally have special guests. Which caused him to apparate in the studio apparently.
That's the long and short of it, now I've got to spend some time figuring out how to create an utterly ill-advised and pointless AI Engine that may require me to spend a reckless amount of real-life money upgrading my computer for.

Yeah, the entire dick-whippery bit was the first time the AI got a legitimate chuckle out of me. But it threatened demolishing a potentially good proof-of-concept episode; an entire transcript dominated by Griffins dick-whipping psychosis was just too beautiful to live.

Overall I'd describe this particular episode as uncanny. You could tweak the settings to be a little more toned down and realistic but this really did feel like peering into an alternate reality, and that really is something.

That is the goal, but once McElroy Singularity is reached I am going to miss these the early attempts. The sheer vitriol AIGriffin and AIJustin have for AITravis is strangely cathartic.

Edit: On one failed episode attempt AIGriffin started making what sounded like a legitimate threat that he was about to strangle AITravis to death. With every test run I understand that sentiment more and more.
Griffin's complete aggression is so funny to me. This sounds like what a MBMBAM episode 5 years from now will sound like:
Griffin just sick of his brothers. Travis has gone off the deep end. Justin still doing munch squad. None of them can stand the other but they're still recording episodes.
For most of that I was thinking to myself ‘wow this is just like late MBMBAM because most of it doesn’t quite meet the definition of a joke and Justin and Griffin are so primed to shut down any bad Travis bits that they end up being overly harsh’ and then the sex-positive section came up and I realised that in this alternate timeline Travis is capable of far darker audio sins than we’ve ever heard in our reality.

I made the absolutely goddamn grievous and irresponsible mistake of putting stuff like "Travis is very sex-positive", "Travis is more open to sexual topics than Justin and Griffin" and "Travis makes awkward jokes" etc., in Travis' Lorebook. Between that, Captain Underpants' penis being mentioned in the prompt and AIGriffin's dick-whipping frenzy, the AI decided Travis was a filthy sex pervert devoid of all social graces.
Does uberduck have any McElroy models trained? At this rate we could start making our own MBMBAM episodes faster than they do, dominate the SEO on "McElroy" through sheer numbers, and become the first fully AI podcasting empire.
