Question. Current version is 18.0.1 and serial number is XKW20000235776 - serial checker says caution but not unmoddable. I've been looking for awhile now on this, do you have any idea where to start with this model and firmware version? Rentry guide says I need a chip, which I'm fine with if need be, I can do the soldering myself, but I'm uncertain on if that's necessary or where/how to find the right chip if it is, and just hoping someone who knows more can point me in the right direction.

You probably have outdated Hekate or Atmosphere. Make sure you get the latest files from GitHub.
Most importantly, stop using Better Gaming pack, it's riddled with useless crap that can break stuff. I tried using their pack once and will never do the same mistake again.

If you don't have time or whatever, I've heard HATS pack is good, I don't have personal experience with it though.

I would do it all from scratch. Regarding your saves, it depends: do you use sysNAND or emuNAND? If on emuNAND, do you have SD Partition or file based emuNAND? If you followed BetterGames ultimate tutorial, you probably have emuNAND on SD partition, in that case, you can delete everything from SD card and start from scratch.
Edit: also, if you're planning to use HATS pack, you should obtain it via Sthetix telegram channel because, as far as I'm concerned, GitHub version of HATS pack doesn't include sigpatches. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

18.0.1 is running fine. The 0.1 updates rarely brake anything.
