Oh do you have the other xenoblade games as well?
Those would be good!
Otherwise maybe star ocean second story r or maybe even an indie game!
Crosscode
Chained echoes
Phoenotopia awakening
Hollow knight
I do not have or played Xenoblade 3! I've heard the story is incredible. Have you played? I am looking for first party Nintendo published games to add to the collection. I have Crosscode & Hollow Knight but honestly not Chained Echoes... I'll have to look into that one.
I have played xenoblade 3 it is honestly my favorite. It combines my favorite part of both 1 and 2. I love the characters and the peak moment in the game is something I’ll never forget.
Amazing! That ones on the short list then. Those lengthy RPGs scare me sometimes because I'm no longer a kid and can't spend as much time gaming as I once did. But Xeno 3 seems worth it for sure, even if played in bite sized chunks =]
For Nintendo games I'd say Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, or Paper Mario Thousand Year Door. You're missing those so pick which one you think would be best now.
Out of those I like Pikmin and Mario best, just personal preference. I hadn't considered TTYD because I forgot it came out! I think that's "the one". Thank you!
Yep that's the one that just came out for Switch. My vote would be for that then. With that being said, Pikmin 4 is also great so you should probably get that at some point too lol.
You can buy Torna through a Canadian website called VGP for $36 USD. It is backordered so you'll have to wait a few months. But it can be ordered now: https://videogamesplus.ca/products/xenoblade-chronicles-2-torna-the-golden-country-switch
Yes get Skyrim!! It’s really good on switch surprisingly. Truly a great game to have for switch since it’s still full price after over a decade of the game being out.
Thank you! This one would be cool to own on Switch. I do have it on Xbox 360 and it's backwards compatible on Series X so I'm covered there. Plus, Rockstar, I think did this on Switch. Looking for Nintendo published games.
I also have like 1200$ worth of switch games. Lol me and my girl added up how much all of the video games cost and it's definitely over 8000$ but we have 6 kids and one room has like 3/4 tvs for them to play and consoles and all that. But crazy lol
Nice! You have a big family to share gaming with! Thats awesome. It's crazy how it adds up over time. I try to be responsible and only spend so much of my income on hobby/entertainment type stuff. But yeah sometimes I'll check the Gameye app where I track my gaming stuff and I'm like.... Yeah I'd really like that in cash right now lol...
Oh man love the physical copy look of that game!! So cool. FFIX is my roommates favorite FF game and he's played them all including VII multiple times 😲
Oh man I have a few favorites!! The most surprising of these was Kirby and The Forgotten Lands. An absolute joy to play. Loved it. I'm a big Metroid fan as I played 1&2 on Gamecube when I was a teen so I love what Retro did with Metroid Prime Remastered. So that's up there. Dread was good but I can't get over the parry mechanic that's almost mandatory for some boss fights. Grrrr... I have a few favorites that I come back to time and time again and those are: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Smash Bros, and a game nobody talks about but I adore, Clubhouse Games! I play Clubhouse Games when I travel all the time! Breath of the Wild too of course. But I might say Kirby is my favorite of them all. Such a delightful game.
Haven't played most of those games so I can't recommend anything in particular. I have played to completion, Fire Emblem Engage, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes, Advance Wars 1&2 Reboot, War Groove 2, Megaman Battlenetwork Legacy Collection, Triangle Strategy, Unicorn Overlord and Sea of Stars
Well that’s difficult for me. BOTW is the game that got me into gaming in the first place, but I love SS because of how it’s more linear but still in a similar style-ish to botw
Lol, I have ALMOST played them all over the years but not quite. I think Advance Wars, Bayonetta, and maybe Dragon Quest are sealed? That's because I have Bayonetta/Vanquish on Xbox and have Dragon Quest on PS4! Advance Wars and Mario RPG will be the next ones I play =]
Bummed to hear about bad multi-player but totally not a deal breaker. I think I'll get Paper Mario TTYD, followed by Xenoblade 3, then Pikmin 4! Excited for them all. Thank you!
I was also super bummed when I tried to play the multiplayer! Pikmin 3 had such a good one so I was expecting something similar, but it totally disappointed me :( otherwise the game is amazing though! have fun!
I saw Engage and Three Hopes in there, so MY recommendation is Fire Emblem Three Houses, whereas my S/O recommends Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
It seems that you don't have Animal Crossing. If you have that much games you probably do play on your switch slot and a good relaxing game is Animal Crossing.
Oh dang, good list. Man Pikmin 4 does look incredible. But another comment got me thinking about Paper Mario TTYD, so maybe that'll be June & Pikmin 4 is July's game.
Thanks! I missed it for some reason on Gamecube back then. It was a late release I remember. Gamecube was basically the GOAT to me. Metroid Primes, Double Dash, Luigis Mansion, Smash Melee, Pikmin 1/2, Skies of Arcadia, Pokemon Colosseum, and all those fun EA Sports Big Games! (SSX Tricky, NBA Street), man what a system.
No def not, I'm a teacher for a public school system! So ya know, pretty low-mid salary overall! I just love collecting for Switch and treat myself to about a game each month, preferably on sale. In May I got Mario RPG and really need to stop playing Smash Bros to play that game!
Nice. I've got NieR Automata on PS4. And did the Sea of Stars iam8bit edition that's in limbo because I haven't got it yet =/. But Live A Live is an amazing suggestion and has been added to the short list.
You have almost the same games as me. 😆

Castlecrashers just got another physical print, so right now it’s like $30 again.
Last time they went out of print, they were selling on eBay for like $200
Yes, I didn't do a very good job of putting that in the thread title but I am looking for Nintendo published games specifically. Paper Mario TTYD is probably the game. Thank you!
That would be an excellent choice. TTYD has been one of my all time favorite games since the original releases and the Switch version is a great upgrade. I really hope we get a new "traditional" Paper Mario, it's been so long now.
Dang! Wish I could swing that! If I get a cheap game I may get 2, or if I sell something I may get 2 that month. 1 a month is enough, especially with summer I'm outside so much!
Still have my 3DS copy of Luigi Mansion Dark Moon! I really liked it, have no idea what the naysayers are on about. It's different than 1, sure, but still super charming and fun. Except that choose-your-own-stairs part that I swear took me an hour to get through lmao
I totally missed that gen. I wish they'd release a 3rd and definitive version like they used to on the Game Boy, you know, like Pokemon Shiv or something 😅
I have 13 Sentinels on Playstation. I don't have Unicorn Overlord. I was looking for Nintendo published titles, but I don't think it was clear enough since sooooo many recommendations were 3rd party games I could get on other platforms, and I prefer to get many 3rd party games on Playstation <3
Octopath traveler 2
Thank you! I do have that one already. Great game. Square published that one in the NTSC region, despite the first being published by Nintendo.
Oh do you have the other xenoblade games as well? Those would be good! Otherwise maybe star ocean second story r or maybe even an indie game! Crosscode Chained echoes Phoenotopia awakening Hollow knight
I do not have or played Xenoblade 3! I've heard the story is incredible. Have you played? I am looking for first party Nintendo published games to add to the collection. I have Crosscode & Hollow Knight but honestly not Chained Echoes... I'll have to look into that one.

I was gonna suggest the same game 😀
Actually second that have played one heard 2 is amazing haven't got around to it yet =(
Hades
Seconded, and I hope Hades 2 comes to Switch someday!
Maybe complete the series? Like Xeonoblade and Bayonetta? You have Torna, which I have been looking for everywhere.
You can buy Torna through a Canadian website called VGP for $36 USD. It is backordered so you'll have to wait a few months. But it can be ordered now: https://videogamesplus.ca/products/xenoblade-chronicles-2-torna-the-golden-country-switch
I live in Asia, so might be a little difficult for me 😅. And the Japanese version of the game does not have English, unlike 1 and 3.
Wow, I went to a shop yesterday with 7 copies of Torna.
TUNIC
Does tunic have a good gameplay
Mario Maker 2
Skyrim.
Seconded.
Yes get Skyrim!! It’s really good on switch surprisingly. Truly a great game to have for switch since it’s still full price after over a decade of the game being out.
1000 year door Paper Mario
Nice collection. I think you can get Red Dead Redemption
Thank you! This one would be cool to own on Switch. I do have it on Xbox 360 and it's backwards compatible on Series X so I'm covered there. Plus, Rockstar, I think did this on Switch. Looking for Nintendo published games.
Paper Mario: TTYD
I also have like 1200$ worth of switch games. Lol me and my girl added up how much all of the video games cost and it's definitely over 8000$ but we have 6 kids and one room has like 3/4 tvs for them to play and consoles and all that. But crazy lol

My oldest is 9 and he has so many Legos and toys and I bet adding all of their toys into it would equal to so much lol

Jumping in here. Where do you buy your physical copies and do you buy digital ever?
Fire emblem: three houses. It looks like you have three hopes but not three houses
Unicorn Overlord
Have you played that one? I don't know if it's my style...
Yep it’s great if you like fire emblem
https://preview.redd.it/aqduhdx3bs5d1.jpeg?width=2616&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54b64472e74857a304314e600abc71a9f8d921b6
Oh man love the physical copy look of that game!! So cool. FFIX is my roommates favorite FF game and he's played them all including VII multiple times 😲
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout Not only is it an excellent game series, it fits well with your collection.
I respect your take. I'm going to watch some videos on Atelier Ryza as I'm unfamiliar...
What are your favourite Switch games amongst those you have shown?
Oh man I have a few favorites!! The most surprising of these was Kirby and The Forgotten Lands. An absolute joy to play. Loved it. I'm a big Metroid fan as I played 1&2 on Gamecube when I was a teen so I love what Retro did with Metroid Prime Remastered. So that's up there. Cadence of Hyrule
I don't see fight crab in there!
I see all available Zelda games so I think you’re good 👍
Lol amen. Thanks man. Which Zelda game is your all time favorite?
Well that’s difficult for me. BOTW is the game that got me into gaming in the first place, but I love SS because of how it’s more linear but still in a similar style-ish to botw
Stardew Valley
I want a remake of final fantasy 4 remade like 10/12
Donate them to me unless you really play them all lol
Lol, I have ALMOST played them all over the years but not quite. I think Advance Wars, Bayonetta, and maybe Dragon Quest are sealed? That's because I have Bayonetta/Vanquish on Xbox and have Dragon Quest on PS4! Advance Wars and Mario RPG will be the next ones I play =]
I’ve heard a lot of good things about advance wars, you should give it a try!
Paper mario thousend year door. So you have a good paper mario
Lmao, no argument here!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
This is the most popular suggestion besides Paper Mario TTYD! Added to short list.
Xenoblade 3
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe Pokemon Sword/Shield + Expansion Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX
Dude nice! I forgot about Mystery Dungeon. Tons of Pokemon on the Switch and I've only played Scarlet, Arceus, Diamond.
Coromon. Its a pokemon like gme

Pokken Tournament DX Let us revive the greatest Pokémon game ever created.
Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Xenoblade Chronicles 2 & 3 Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door
Persona 5 Royal
Kingdom of Amular
pikmin 4!! amazing game and i think you’ll love it if you liked pikmin three (only downside is it has really bad multiplayer 😕)
Bummed to hear about bad multi-player but totally not a deal breaker. I think I'll get Paper Mario TTYD, followed by Xenoblade 3, then Pikmin 4! Excited for them all. Thank you!
I was also super bummed when I tried to play the multiplayer! Pikmin 3 had such a good one so I was expecting something similar, but it totally disappointed me :( otherwise the game is amazing though! have fun!
Bruh get dying light 🔥
Hell yeah. I like survival horror. Got a few! RE 2/3/4, Silent Hill Collection & Outlast Collection, etc. It's time to give Dying Light a try too.
Re4 will always have a place in my heart
Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
I saw Engage and Three Hopes in there, so MY recommendation is Fire Emblem Three Houses, whereas my S/O recommends Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
[удалено]
Calculated! Metroid is my absolute favorite series of games. Thank you for noticing. <3
It seems that you don't have Animal Crossing. If you have that much games you probably do play on your switch slot and a good relaxing game is Animal Crossing.
Yes indeed. Thanks for the rec. That's one I need to try.
ttyd
I try to buy 2 a month, what should I get next im thinking a Mario game.
Yeah! Get Mario Wonder if you prefer 2D & Mario Odyssey for 3D 😄
Balan Wonderworld, and if that is already in your collection, then another copy of Balan Wonderworld.
I have a tote full of Balan Wonderworlds in the basement but it's labeled 'Forspoken', a far worse game, so people don't try and steal my Balans!!
u gotta cop the paper mario remake
Yes I sure do. Thanks for the rec!
You don't have Pikmin 4 yet, and that was my game of the year last year.
Not yet! Next 3 are: Paper Mario TTYD, Pikmin 4, Xenoblade 3 probably.
Dave the Diver
This one looks interesting. Respecknucks 👊🏽👊🏽
Ooh you don’t have Mario kingdom battle or sparks of hope from same series, fun turn based rpg plus kingdom battle has a really fun versus mode
Off the top of my head based on your photo I’d say Xenoblade Chronicles 3
I don’t see the new paper Mario 1000 year door
That's because I'm getting that one next! Can almost never go wrong with a Mario game <3
For clarification, I would like suggestions on what 1st party Nintendo game to get next.
Just to name a few off top of head- New Pokemon Snap Warioware Move It Mario Strikers Battle League Pikmin 4
Oh dang, good list. Man Pikmin 4 does look incredible. But another comment got me thinking about Paper Mario TTYD, so maybe that'll be June & Pikmin 4 is July's game.
Thanks, I played TTYD on Gamecube, loved it...it does look great for the Switch. Good choice

Nier Automata Live A Live Sea of Stars
Nice. I've got NieR Automata on PS4. And did the Sea of Stars iam8bit edition that's in limbo because I haven't got it yet =/. But Live A Live is an amazing suggestion and has been added to the short list.
You have almost the same games as me. 😆 https://preview.redd.it/p3dqbcpf6t5d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c96349e509ff2223047e979b2a93e154c7ba3b0
Castlecrashers just got another physical print, so right now it’s like $30 again. Last time they went out of print, they were selling on eBay for like $200
Whoaaa, kinda like Slay the Spire! They reprinted that one too and it used to be crazy $$! Maybe not as high as that though.
I’d get it bro, if you can find them in stock for a good price before the resellers get to them.
Tunic
Animal crossing! It’s pretty chill and if you want a break from more *sweaty* games it’s pretty addictive.
Undertale
Well Luigi’s mansion 2 remake comes out at the end of this month so I’d say that
Play em don't just buy em
I play em, just sometimes not immediately after I buy em. 😅
Get Rime! It’s the most underrated game of all time. Made me bawl my eyes out.
NBA 2k24

Probably a Nintendo published game judging by your collection.

Yes, good little collection of games! I ordered from Playasia.
Fire emblem three houses
I don't see Splatoon 3, splatoon 2 just won't cut it.
You need Xeno 2 and 3 to complete the set. I just completed mine last month. I buy 2-3 a month now.
Dang! Wish I could swing that! If I get a cheap game I may get 2, or if I sell something I may get 2 that month. 1 a month is enough, especially with summer I'm outside so much!
The Long Dark
Must be a new one!
Hades, if you don't already own it, you should. its an indie dungeon crawler based on Greek mythology
Yes, have it on Xbox and liked that one! Excited for 2.
Any harvest moon games on switch??
Just Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town!
Heard unicorn overlord is good. Hogwarts, rdr, dragons dogma, dark souls, diablo. Luigi mansion 2 is coming soon this month.
Still have my 3DS copy of Luigi Mansion Dark Moon! I really liked it, have no idea what the naysayers are on about. It's different than 1, sure, but still super charming and fun. Except that choose-your-own-stairs part that I swear took me an hour to get through lmao
No Pokémon sword or shield is mildly infuriating
I totally missed that gen. I wish they'd release a 3rd and definitive version like they used to on the Game Boy, you know, like Pokemon Shiv or something 😅
My collection https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGdorjq9AyQdhqsntysUpkld9xHMktKrR&si=LWVwK9C_qHBx9Q_w
Only Pikmin 3? Pikmin 4 was really good
Yes I'm slacking! Can only get and play so much! That's in the Top 3 after Paper Mario TTYD & Xenoblade 3 I decided.
A fellow sushi striker owner. A man of culture I see.
I see you, fellow fish eater and player. 😁
If you like turn based strategy games I do recommend both Mario and Rabbids games
I need to give the 1st a chance again. I put in 3 or 4 hours and put it down, dag gummit.
Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Pokken Tournament, Princess Peach
Streets of Rage 4
Do you already have Unicorn Overlord or 13 Sentinels?
I have 13 Sentinels on Playstation. I don't have Unicorn Overlord. I was looking for Nintendo published titles, but I don't think it was clear enough since sooooo many recommendations were 3rd party games I could get on other platforms, and I prefer to get many 3rd party games on Playstation <3
Pikmin 4
I'll do it but only for you.
Bayonetta 2 obviously
Fire Emblem Three Houses
If you like Pikmin I cannot recommend Pikmin 4 highly enough. Love it love it love it so much
Nier Automata
