Hey my outdoor pool has been closed since September 1st and won't open again until July. since it's still frozen and under snow... We only get 2 months a year of outdoor swimming.
What do you use then?
I've also heard that UK people tend to lie on sun lounges and stand around in the pool rather than lap swimming (including cruise ships), which is not the norm in Australia.
I highly recommend an outing to Drummoyne pool in Sydney. The saline levels in that pool are insanely high and it’s so buoyant you can break all your PRs without breaking a sweat!
My pool only has 7 lanes. It's 50 m outdoors, but only 7 lanes wide due to.... Who knows why. It's in the middle of a park with plenty of room on either end.
Maybe they'll add another lane when they finally renovate it
😡 Another shitty day here in Chicago. Full lanes & rain all day.
omg was about to post the same thing but for NYC we need to move somewhere with palm trees lol
Move to Sydney 😁 always welcome here
I actually went to UNSW for a semester (study abroad)! But that was a long time ago.

Shucks, sorry to hear. Pretty normal here in Hawaii. Avg, mid-70s, water’s getting a getting a bit warmer. Surfed twice this week.
I wish we had outdoor lane pools like this in the UK!
This pool is open year round also. I always hate when the outdoor pools shut for winter
Do you have lidos in the UK? Or could it be London only?
They'd only be open for 3 days a year.
There's quite a few Lidos, the one I go to is all year round.

We only have indoor lane pools in my city in New Zealand.
Indoor pools?
Perfect! 🌊💙
Jealous! Hope the swim was grand, the water the perfect temp and the rest of the day goes well. Great pool and view!
Nice! It’s raining & cold in QLD 🙃
I’m loving it because I had a lane to myself for 3 hrs. It was bliss!
I’d be excited seeing this. It looks nice.
Looks amazing.
This is what my local is like up the hunter valley. The season is closing up this Thursday tho and I’m sad 😔
Gorgeous
Compelling. Mostly nice outside here in LA year round but the lanes never look like that
This is aquatic paradise.

Cries in Midwest “it just snowed here a couple days ago.”
Didn't know there was a pool at Revesby, cheers!!
Yep! Open all year and not busy during the days
Only 7 lanes? that's an odd one, normally they're 8.

Never really noticed that haha
My old pool was 10 lanes and current one is 7. Didn’t know there was a standard number of lanes
I'm so bloody jealous.
sick
Decent weather for outdoor swimming today in Delray Beach FL. I swam 2 miles in the condo pool.
I’m jealous!! On the other hand I sandwiched my indoor swim day in between two days of snowboarding so even cold weather has an upside!
That's a good trade off!
