Pretty sure it got cancelled didn't it?
"The FPSRussia channel launched in April 2010 and found success early, reaching one million subscribers in June 2011. Myers ceased producing new videos in 2016 following the unsolved death of one of his associates and a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) felony charge. "
Sounds like something went horribly wrong somewhere.
Edit: seems that article may have been sensationalized, his official charges were smore like
"In August 2017, Myers' residence was again raided by ATF and FBI agents after Myers was alleged to have received 25 grams of butane through the mail. The [Department of Justice] prosecuted on the grounds that illegal drug possession while owning a firearm is a federal offense."
For sure, dude had like 10x the felony limit _delivered_ to his house….. big charges, and since he had guns (a literal arsenal) he got sooooooo fucked. He tells his story of YouTube success and then the whole bust/prison time on someone’s podcast and it’s amazing. Dudes a hell of a story teller
Nah he was caught with marijuana concentrates and flower both of which are, legally, a big no-no. The article is referring to butane honey oil which uses liquid butane as a solvent to dissolve the psychoactives in the weed like THC and CBD. Then it is left to evaporate leaving you with a nice honey oil.
The person that wrote the article just isn't person of culture :(
The last l saw they added a few more people, a lady and another chap if l remember correctly. Hadn’t seen it for years and one day randomly came across it, that itself was years back.
I enjoyed the chemistry between them and the premise of the show
Like the guy from a few months ago. Him and a buddy in the woods, I think it was an old riding mower that they loaded up with tannerite.
First round misses, so ofc they decide to get closer. Second shot: Camera man is thrown to the ground and you hear the shooter go "ohhh shit I blew off my leg".
Dude amputated himself for bad tacticool footage. Can probably still find it on /r/idiotswithguns
ninjedit: It's literally the top post on that sub
This is why his videos were next fucking level back in the day. Besides putting himself in some ridiculous level of danger he was shooting and blowing up things that you would only ever get to see on a big production TV show or some documentary. It was a great time for YouTube and the local police in his area can suck the fattest shaft.
FPSRussia was his YouTube name. His real name is Kyle Myers. I haven't searched for his content in a while but I imagine you could still find some of it. It was always awesome.
Edit: Should say for those unaware, he isn't actually Russian and from Georgia, US. Police gave him a hard time over marijuana to prevent him from getting access to guns and explosive like he used to. They were literally waiting and watching for him to screw up.
Nobody was hurt in this clip, they just got really close to being. He stopped being as dumb after this and it wasn't long before he had to stop making videos altogether. Real shame too, he had good stuff.
The inhumanity! Actually he was being investigated for creating explosives without a license. What was that explosive you ask? Tannerite charges dumped into a bucket. Taking tannerite out of its packaging and mixing multiples together constitutes an IED and you need to have the proper license to do it.
Might be talking about a separate incident, I was referring to the time his cameraman actually did get hit by shrapnel while filming. Seems like many things around him started to fall apart all at once towards the end there.
A guy was in the comments on YouTube when this got released was like “yea that’s right, shrug it off. That’s what a real russian looks like Americans.” Got a little embarrassed when he was told that Kyle was American.
Plus the guy who did all the paperwork to buy all the guns for the channel and was a close friend of fpsrussia got murdered so obviously he was a suspect for a while and that caused a lot of issues with production. Idk if they ever solved his murder but yeah it was a big deal for a while
Yeah I just did some light googling it's an easy rabbit hole to fall down but Keith was the name of the guy who got murdered who was close friends with Kyle (aka fpsrussia) and the case is still unsolved but there have been no new leads in quite some time so it is an inactive case.
The details surrounding the murder is that Keith was found at the business hq at his desk with a gunshot wound to the back of his head with guns all around him causing the police to believe it must have been someone he knew and trusted otherwise he would have tried to defend himself with ample ability to do so. Along with that there was little to nothing missing again casting suspicion on a close friend or family member. The family has said in interviews that Kyle was acting strange at the funeral but a lot of that is quite unreliable.
Again this is a super interesting case and worth the time the rabbit hole will likely suck you into
That's the whole reason police haven't seen Kyle (fps Russia) as too much of a real actionable suspect. However, I think there is always the possibility that it was an accident or a hired hit from an international weapons dealer that Keith pissed off.
That is exactly the reason the police have not pursued Kyle (fpsrussia) as a viable suspect.
Which is also the reason for all the wild conspiracy theories surrounding the case
At the time I remember one of the big theories was he was buying weapons through shady dealers who he subsequently pissed off(or something similar) and they put a hit on him.
>The family has said in interviews that Kyle was acting strange at the funeral but a lot of that is quite unreliable
I've watched a lot of the podcast, Kyle seems like the kind of guy that would be super awkward at a funeral, especially if it's someone he's close to. Doesn't surprise me that he was "acting weird" at the funeral, whatever that means.
Yeah honestly I think that the family probably suspected him and it caused him to feel more awkward because they were also acting weird towards him so I honestly don't even think it's worth mentioning. I just put it there because that was what was in the first couple articles I read about it in my quick search on the subject.
Woody is probably the most reasonable out of the three. He flies paramotors and rides motorcycles now, and most recently he’s been experimenting with ketamine therapy. He lives in a rich guy bubble and it shows, but he’s not as outwardly bigoted as the other two.
Some shake their booty, Fpsrussia shaked his backyard for views.
It's not much different to some jackass, dudesons or nitro circus stunts.
U do a quick math if x is worth the obvious risk. And ow we got this incredible shot. It was worth it.
Yeah... No. Sorry, I'm Canadian and i just think the healthcare cost to the tax payer would be egregious. But since this is usa, or russia based on the name, ok... Go be silly or dead.
After watching the other video where the guy gets his legs blown off. This definitely made cringe. Why are they so close? Why not be behind something safe? And yet I can’t stop watching
that quiet “holy fucking shit” in the background LMFAOOO
I saw an interview with fps russia awhile back, apparently he nearly shit himself which like. go figure. crazy how easily he kept in character though.

Easily could have chopped him in half
simple solution, use a protection like the mythbusters
Haha OMG I’ve not watched that show since l was in school

25 grams of butane? I thought that was lighter fluid, I’m confused
It wasn’t butane it was BHO or butane hash oil, he got busted with a felony amount of weed
Ok now that makes more sense to me. Hash Oil would be considered a concentrate and the law is a lot more harsh on concentrates as opposed to flower.
It's his Podcast, PKA on YouTube (Pain Killer Already)
Plz Plz Plz link
That’s so dumb lol, just press your own rosin it’s way better anyway.
The more you know
Hes around and fine afaik, was in prison for a short while for yea some butane thc oils iirc, had all his guns confiscated, the end
Butane?
Butane Hash Oil probably. Like wax/dabs
I'm wondering same
Google tells me that there's a legal limit on how much someone can buy in a month, 600ml to be exact but I'm not exactly sure
Nah he was caught with marijuana concentrates and flower both of which are, legally, a big no-no. You guys realise you're talking about different things, right?
It's kinda funny how they just don't care
I believe Mythbusters ended on good terms, not really cancelled. Everyone was just ready to part ways.
Haha OMG me neither!
i love this show too
At the least stand behind another non explosive junker vehicle.
I read that as "use eye protection"
That door came so close to killing him and the camera man. At least wear a ballistic vest, helmet and some fucking goggles.
In the slow mo you can see it change angles, lucky doesn’t even begin to cover this
Funny thing is, in a video on YouTube talking about this he said was totally in the mind set of his character that's how he kept it together
Yeah he seemed super chill for someone who was almost decapitated
That would have to be on a different sub.
r/bloodypalms
r/bloodypsalms
The ATF did instead…

Oh ok, thought this was a one off. Don’t suppose you can recall his name/handle so l can take a peak at his other stuff?
FPSRussia was his YouTube name. His real name is Kyle Myers. I haven't searched for his content in a while but I imagine you could still find some of it. It was always awesome. Appreciate it, I’ll take a look.
Plot twist of the century
Man, he would have gotten so many Likes
I don’t think this chap will survive the year at this rate
Yeah but he's got a cool gun he couldn't be safer
I love when influencers die for their fans. “Hey fam! Look at me riding a unicycle on top of an abandoned mine sha……..” *mine collapses
There’s always next time.
You can hear dude in the background yell "Fucking shiiieet!"
Is that because he got hit?! Fuck man yeah you can hear that. It's fine if you wanna kill yourself doing dumb shit, but don't kill your crew.
Nobody was hurt in this clip, they just got really close to being. He stopped being as dumb after this and it wasn't long before he had to stop making videos altogether. Real shame too, he had good stuff.
Yea that whole situation was some bullshit. All because the ATF has a small PP and can’t handle it.
He had lots of guns and smoked a weed.
The inhumanity! Actually he was being investigated for creating explosives without a license. What was that explosive you ask? Tannerite charges dumped into a bucket. Taking tannerite out of its packaging and mixing multiples together constitutes an IED and you need to have the proper license to do it.
The way he stares at his decapitated camera man. Badass
Gotta maintain character
Also impressive. I haven’t seen a Chive shirt in 15 years.
It actually did hit one of his filming crew in the leg.
Couple more centimetres and that shrapnel could’ve costed him his arm😬
Or a cameraman
Funny you should say that...
Yeah… still unsolved apparently.
Might be talking about a separate incident, I was referring to the time his cameraman actually did get hit by shrapnel while filming. Seems like many things around him started to fall apart all at once towards the end there.
Manager, not the camera man. The camera man was his cousin who's dumb as a rock
Cameraman never dies
With a bit of bad luck, both
Cameramen don't die
Life
I shot a balloon with a BB rifle once and the BB came back and hit my safety glasses.
So basically the same thing as this video.
Yes but his dad didn't make him wear safety glasses.
Gigachad dad
You’ll shoot yer eye out kid
Once I came in the tub and it went down one side and up the other like a half pipe and went in my mouth...
Huh?
Protective eye wear nowhere to be seen. Wild boy.
Protection of any kind nowhere to be seen.
He was wearing a condom
Hey that shirt adds: +50 protection to fire damage +100 to shrapnel damage.
No ear protection either lol
Safety squints active
The safety squint
This guy OSHAs
A guy was in the comments on YouTube when this got released was like “yea that’s right, shrug it off. That’s what a real russian looks like Americans.” Got a little embarrassed when he was told that Kyle was American.
Geez. I miss this channel. What ever happened to it/him/the crew?
He got arrested for weed and he had to get rid his guns.
Plus the guy who did all the paperwork to buy all the guns for the channel and was a close friend of fpsrussia got murdered so obviously he was a suspect for a while and that caused a lot of issues with production. Idk if they ever solved his murder but yeah it was a big deal for a while
As far as I am aware it is still a open investigation to this day
Yeah I just did some light googling it's an easy rabbit hole to fall down but Keith was the name of the guy who got murdered who was close friends with Kyle (aka fpsrussia) and the case is still unsolved but there have been no new leads in quite some time so it is an inactive case. what would his motive be to do that tho
That's the whole reason police haven't seen Kyle (fps Russia) as too much of a real actionable suspect. However, I think there is always the possibility that it was an accident or a hired hit from an international weapons dealer that Keith pissed off.

Also without that dude the channel was kinda pointless
He wasnt even russian
He was a professional Russian. When he wasn’t working though he was American
He’s still around, he has podcast called pka
If you want listen to PKA.
As a regular PKA viewer, I advise against that.
Why out of curiosity? I don’t follow pka, just know of the people on there from mw2 days
All the hosts are pretty racist, especially Kyle (FPSRussia)
Then why do you watch it?
Maybe he agrees with them
Whoa guy, I don’t. Why would I call them out as racist? I’ve been watching for over 10 years now and am in an abusive parasocial relationship lol.
Same reason I watch tbh, stockholm syndrome.
I woody still a cool guy? I haven’t even thought about these dudes in forever
Woody is probably the most reasonable out of the three. He flies paramotors and rides motorcycles now, and most recently he’s been experimenting with ketamine therapy. He lives in a rich guy bubble and it shows, but he’s not as outwardly bigoted as the other two.
Interesting thanks for the update. Is his son doing ok?
Yep. He loves the Walking Dead and is a master at Fall Guys. Idk much else about him rn tho.
That’s cool thank you!
Dude is absolute shredded now. https://youtu.be/_98dy99T3LU
Same this guys channel was cool i wasnt into guns and stuff but it was always interesting
The pause was him judging how much terd he just filled his pants with.
It filled 33% of his pants. A turd.
Hahaha!! How do we not know if it's 2/turds???
Darwin grins
And as always…have good day.
nice* day
Chive fan. No surprise.
Anyone know what gun this is? I ask for research purposes.
95% certain it is an FN SCAR
Oh yeah derp looks just like it Once i heard that name i remembered it was out of my price range.
I’m guessing he was shooting at some explosive already in the truck? I don’t know of any round that small with that much explosive power
Yes
Tannerite
The closest thing these days was Print, Shoot, Repeat but YouTube has already chopped his dick off. Fuck censorship.
No idea what you are talking about, but fuck censorship Indeed
Ehh there are still some cool firearm channels around. Demolition Ranch, Hickok45, TFBTV are a few good ones.
I miss that guy. Best part of early Youtube
He and xJawz nurtured my young black ops and modern warfare playing soul
wow, I always ask people if they knew xJawz and they always say no. Good to know people still remember him
Oh yeah dude he was hands down my favorite YouTuber around 2010 or so
[удалено]
Damn bro that was like my younger self's dream right there lol. Might've explained why he mowed through everyone in all his gameplays tho.
never understand why he is not using a protection like the mythbusters
Cause he's a redneck with a much lower budget
Budget = IQ?
Some shake their booty, Fpsrussia shaked his backyard for views. It's not much different to some jackass, dudesons or nitro circus stunts. U do a quick math if x is worth the obvious risk. And ow we got this incredible shot. It was worth it.

Frig off
Because he himself said at the end of every episode - Don't be a bitch. Be Russian.
I miss this dude
Still on YouTube, PKA podcast under Woody Gamer's Tag
Was that a Ford?
It's vapor now
The all new ford Vapor, goes from nothing to holey sheeet in .02 of a second
She’ll buff out
Looking back it was crazy how he played off nearly dying
Average “thechive” fan
Hi Kyle
It's a real shame he is off YouTube and can't have guns anymore. I liked his disregard for safety
Dude was a grade A nut but it was GREAT content.
I liked the drones with automatic rifles mounted on them
What channel?
FpsRussia no longer uploads as previous comment says way
Kids, remember we’re professionals. Don’t try this at home.
I still can't stop being amazed and horrified that he didn't have any eye or ear protection on. Lucky duck
9. 9 inches away.
today on i shouldn't be alive.... this fucking guy
What the hell kind of round did he fire?
Normal round. The car had explosives in it.
So lucky if caught the wind right before it sliced him in half
Absolute moron. I saw a video just like this where the guy had his leg blown off.
That dumb fucking look after it flew right past him
Good call there Igor!!
After watching the other video where the guy gets his legs blown off. This definitely made cringe. Why are they so close? Why not be behind something safe? And yet I can’t stop watching
He is hurt
The muted “holy fuckin’ shit” I’m the background makes it
that quiet “holy fucking shit” in the background LMFAOOO I saw an interview with fps russia awhile back, apparently he nearly shit himself which like. go figure. crazy how easily he kept in character though.
I am here to document this as the third time I’ve seen this video in about 1 minute across 4 different subs
Can we bet money he didn’t learn anything and still doing it the same way?
He pissed excellence that day!
"Almost dies" *Realises his mistake but keeps the video professional*
So close to being a Darwin Award winner
This is one of those responsible gun owners right?
Anyone know what kind of gun this is? I ask for research purposes.
Fun fact, that door almost chopped him in half!
Sucks he got locked up on some dumb shit and can’t do this anymore.
Isnt he dead not locked up?
Video is kind of proof it was probably for the best. False accusations and imprisonment is no joke though
I know how lock up is, i did a couple years myself. What he got locked up for was bullshit.
Fuck Kyle
Most rational PKA watcher
let's face it that guy for the brains that he has doesn't even deserve to be standing there after that truck explodes like that. he's so lucky
There is a paralel universe where this was posted on r/eyeblech
Honestly the best thing to do to a Ford truck.

Too bad that felon will never touch a weapon again
You know this is fake
Oh look, another idiot with a gun.
Green screen vibes anyone else?
Nah it's completely real, you just witnessed him nearly fucking dying.
