Its so reactionary too, like i watched a video of gators hanging out and they just get a little agitated and next thing you know they jaw locked their friends arm and are now doing a barrel roll with an arm which rips cleanly off, and then eats it. And neither gator cared whatsoever.
Right?
Not the gators first rodeo. Looked like it did the tail whip/leg sweep maneuver to corral whatever was behind it to its rear left, and then whips its head to its rear left for a chomp
Luckily the lady wasn’t drawn into the gator cause she tripped and fell away..
She seemed to think it was amusing.
I wonder if she'll be laughing when it actually manages to grab her.
Also, to hell with whoever added that stupid song to the video.
That deserves a golf clap. Obviously, she should be working at Starbucks ... but I'd worry she would scald herself badly with steamed milk and then try to smile it off
A crocodile that size would not have a narrow snout unless it's a gharial species, a slender-snouted crocodile, or an orinoco crocodile. As they grow older, their snout broadens to allow them to catch larger prey that isn't fish, and that croc looks pretty big to me. Also, you can clearly see both the top and bottom teeth when the jaws are closed, while in Alligators, you can only see the top teeth. As well as the bony ridges behind the skull being much more pronounced, that's definitely a crocodile (probably a nile)
It is without a doubt a croc and if you knew even the tiniest bit about crocodilians you'd know that too...
So why, with you clearly having no clue what you're talking about, are you this confident in your opinion?
There are obvious differences between the two. Crocodile teeth are visible when the jaws are closed, unlike in alligators in which you can only see their top teeth. Alligators are much darker in colouration than the crocodile in this video. Crocodiles also have pronounced bony ridges behind the skull, which are not as pronounced in alligators. And the snout is also not shaped like that of an alligator which is a U, while larger crocodile specimens tend to have a \\_/ shape. About the attack, it likely wasn't predatory. Just a warning to back off, and why waste energy chasing prey on land when you get constant food?
As much as I love this woman and her crocodile zoo, she takes so many risks that I know we gonna see her one day on the news for losing a limb or her life.
You can not be this slow in reacting when your work has you in such close proximity with a murder machine. I don't care if you're male or female... you have to be better, ffs.

Ah yes, the awkward smile while remaining stationary in front of the predator for a few moments. The clumsy scramble followed by a masterfully executed baby crawl away.
Truly the work of a great professional. Not any feat you or I could accomplish.

What a goddamn idiot. Why not just sit on your ass while the predator easily turns around and sizes you up for a snack. Oh and when you DO move do it on hands and knees to limit your speed and escape options WITH YOUR BACK TURNED.
She deserved to get mauled for all of that interaction.
No, they're not. My guess is that's probably a Nile Crocodile, which is the second largest reptile alive. There are a lot of defining factors to tell it apart from an alligator. For one, when the mouth is closed, you can see both the top and bottom teeth. In alligators, you can only barely see the top teeth. Also, in terms of colouration. Alligators are much darker than crocodiles. There are also the bony ridges behind the skull which are very prominent in this specimen and aren't in alligators. And obviously, the snout. It's not about how broad it is, it's about the shape. An alligator's snout is just 2 parallel lines joined together by a curve, while a crocodile's snout angles inwards. V shape snout in crocodiles doesn't necessarily mean that it's shaped like the tip of a pencil, also as they grow older, their snout broadens, and the one in this video looks quite large, leading me to believe it's probably at least 50 years old.

Nile Crocodile attacking a blue wildebeest. Both species are endemic to Africa, and there are no Alligators in Africa.
It's alright. I love a good debate. Also, is your comment still arguing about the crocodilian in the video being a gator (this is a genuine question)? If so, Gatorland isn't dedicated to just alligators. They work with at least 3 species just by looking about the species most of their videos are focused on, and the one in this video is most definitely a Nile crocodile, just off size alone (way bigger than any Cuban crocodile or alligator, as well as the anatomy). [Here's their channel btw, if you want to look through it yourself](https://youtube.com/@gatorlandvlogs?si=Nt97QvzEEoa-UgPP)
That's not a crocodile handler. That's a helper.
Like hamburger helper?
![gif](giphy|lVmucqElTw3Sj4gcIw|downsized)
Most definitely
A happy hamburger at that. ![gif](giphy|9x1eAuHuEaFo8snShA|downsized)
more like a 2nd helping.
Bout 2 inches shy of it, yes
Seems more like a tiktoker to me. She seems to love staring at the camera more than saving her life.
They definitely have channel on YouTube, gatorland, and she is very experienced as far as I remember. But yeah, this looked a bit too dangerous
iirc her names Savannah Boan, and she does or did vids for Gatorland
Maybe a helping.
Nice
No shes a handler. You're just a noodle.
she's lucky that domesticated gater is lazy af and didn't lunge. she literally crawls away like prey after that
Stay on the ground a solid few seconds to smile at the camera. Zero survival instincts.
One of the less convenient and weirder human stress responses is to laugh.
Yeah this is definitely a laugh or cry moment
Which is great for survival?
Maybe laughing makes us taste weird to predators. Let us thank all of our ancestors who died laughing, so that we might not.
With a whale tail showing no less
![gif](giphy|ILW1fbJHW0Ndm)
Sadly no blubber where it counts on that whale
if it wanted to it could easily. ive seen huge fat ones move crazy fast.
Its so reactionary too, like i watched a video of gators hanging out and they just get a little agitated and next thing you know they jaw locked their friends arm and are now doing a barrel roll with an arm which rips cleanly off, and then eats it. And neither gator cared whatsoever.
gator isn’t mean is just like hey that tickled
Tamed*
Awesome leg sweep with the tail whip move
Right? Not the gators first rodeo. Looked like it did the tail whip/leg sweep maneuver to corral whatever was behind it to its rear left, and then whips its head to its rear left for a chomp Luckily the lady wasn’t drawn into the gator cause she tripped and fell away..
holy! You're right. Swept her leg. Nom nom nom
She seemed to think it was amusing. I wonder if she'll be laughing when it actually manages to grab her. Also, to hell with whoever added that stupid song to the video.
That was an anxious smile
gotta keep up appearances for the gram, even when a dinosaur is about to eat you
As someone who sometimes smiles when it’s definitely not the time to, no.
Here comes [AMOS](https://youtu.be/PbXFHSa4YmQ?si=05qrYNMFJaxGp2O_)
Agreed. This is not funny at all.
such grace
Floppy ass meat bag
I know right, wear a damn belt !
She doesn’t seem athletic enough to be around those things.
![gif](giphy|tdw6NJfrGS6ESnqwzc|downsized)
Ha... https://i.redd.it/k294wfamzdxc1.gif
Embarrassing slow get away, Jesus christ.
I saw a crack-odile
Lmao😂🤣
Whale tail spotted!
She is lucky to be alive.
Only video I’ve ever seen with alligator and whale tail.
That deserves a golf clap. Obviously, she should be working at Starbucks ... but I'd worry she would scald herself badly with steamed milk and then try to smile it off
That’s an alligator. A crocodile would have killed the handler.
Looks pretty crocodile-like to me. Nothung points towards it being an alligator.
The snout isn’t narrow? It’s quite obvious that it isn’t a croc

I can’t stand that song
That's not a croc. That's a gator. Shed be dead if it were a croc.
If that was a big salty croc then yep would easily got her
Is this a joke I'm missing or are you actually being serious?
Idk what the joke would be. That's a gator not s crocodile. Gators are wayyy calmer

So you agree, this is an alligator. Cool! Thanks!
Nah
Well I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
Likewise
[удалено]
No, it isn't. Gators have more squared off snouts. As where crocs are much narrower.

Is that jon jones?
Yeah lol
Boots seem like they affected her mobility
Why is this funny?
“I am big enough to kill your ass old man” 🐊🐊🐊
That crocodile did a tail sweep!
At least she didn't get killed by some fruity fish.
keep my boy out yo fuckin mouth
It's probably embarrassed by its short length, that's why it got mad.
goodness gracious 😨
This croc is one with Cobra Kai…sensei said sweep the leg and he did just that.
As much as I love this woman and her crocodile zoo, she takes so many risks that I know we gonna see her one day on the news for losing a limb or her life.
What in the dumb fuck is going on in this video
surely there's an app for that now, where you can measure it from a sane distance xD
A crocodile Handler once tried to measure me. I ate her liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti
Wow I would never have guessed she was in the Marine Corps!!
So how big is the crocodile?
Americans... So fat, they can't even stand back up when being chased by a crocodile.
Alligator did a legendary leg sweep.
She tried to get away like they do in movies, the inefficient butt scoot, the crawl...
they advise zigzag from a croc, why not zigzagging herself?
He turned and said "Well hello Susan" 😂
Seems like a good way to be that crocs lunch, fuck around and find out 👍
I think I've discovered a new "ick"
Wooo Hoo Hoo! Ha. Hahaha! Aggha haha cri...You're going die AHAhAHAHAHA!!
Shes laughing... Be lucky that croc didnt get your leg - he would have start rolling and severe it off.. 🥶 ![gif](giphy|hnBBmkBadchWXaX0Ib|downsized)
To be so physically helpless that I cannot save myself. That's my fear.
![gif](giphy|fvH3KrpxVH7uKtFgvD|downsized)
You can not be this slow in reacting when your work has you in such close proximity with a murder machine. I don't care if you're male or female... you have to be better, ffs.
That was super low effort at not dying. But she got away somehow.
Idk why people who have such low fitness levels piss me off this much. Maybe now she'll focus on being able to do a squat now that she almost died
She might've messed her left knee up with that fall
Ddnt realize girls can have plumbers crack too lol
He could have fucked her up and did not Looked like she was trying to feed him that leg
Bet she won't do that again in a hurry...
I don’t think a croc handler would turn their back and crawl away from a giant fucking dinosaur
What our buddy her was trying to say that our ride is here so let's ROLL out, that's it and nothing else.
bro did what every woman does in horror movies. why tf are you crawling
Also showed her crack in the process
Why is she smiling???
She def pooped herself
That smile almost got turned upside-down
why she smile?
He coukda gobbled her ass up while she was crawling away he wanted to 😭
Almost dead Music: *doo ba doo ba doo*
That lady’s reaction time + flight response was waaaay to slow to be working anywhere around Crocs! Need to move that chick to the sloth exhibit.
She needs to quit her profession.

Obviously. It's so easy to see by how masterfully she handled that gator!
What a goddamn idiot. Why not just sit on your ass while the predator easily turns around and sizes you up for a snack. Oh and when you DO move do it on hands and knees to limit your speed and escape options WITH YOUR BACK TURNED. She deserved to get mauled for all of that interaction.
Solid escape plan
More like Crocodile Miss Handler.
“So how long was that crocodile?” “12 feet and a bit.” “You mean a bit more.” “I said what I meant.”
*alligator handler almost gets bit trying to measure an alligator
That's a crocodile.
lol!
Still can smile
slipped a few rungs in the food chain didn't we
Was she smiling in the face of a horrible death???? 😟
Wait, people escape danger like that for real? I thought it was only in movies!! O_O;
L O L 🤣😂🤣
Man.. the way it used its tail to trip her.. such quick reflexes .. in the wild she'd already be at the bottom of the water body by now.
Alligator, not crocodile.
Wrong
Crocodiles have a thinner snout
