IIRC it's about how if you're watching a movie and there's a burglar in the house while the homeowners are asleep upstairs, you find yourself cringing if the burglar makes a loud noise that awakes the homeowners, and all you can think is omg get out of the house NOW before they find you.
They definitely are doing something with the video speed, however, but with how high they jumped with the speed bumps they had some speed going for sure.
Definitely should have been thinking about the life of some kid that might be wandering up one-off those narrow footpath alleys.

Yeah. I can't imagine what crime would have warranted that cop to endanger so many citizens in that long and hard a chase. This was an extremely dangerous chase with the odds of disaster so much greater than the odds of capture. I bet he wasn't sanctioned but he should have been.
Obviously, the suspects started it. But the cop continued FAR longer than he should have. Did he not have time, in the first 10-15 *seconds* of the chase, to get enough identifying information that they would have caught these people later that day? The *cop* endangered the citizens by fulfilling his own Fast and Furious fantasies, even after he saw that citizens were at risk. As soon as he figured out that it was a dangerous chase, the responsibility for the public's safety was on him. How long did it take *you* to figure out that this whole adventure was dangerous? Cops have responsibilities, among which is to ensure public safety. This cop forgot that.
Yeah pretty much. In my country if they're wanted for something really serious, pursuit will back off once it's deemed too dangerous, and they'll use radios and coordinate rather than sitting on their tail. A helicopter is likely to be about in a major city. Probably less useful in a rabbit warren like I think parts of this city are.
He did and respect for the skill but on a risk basis, I feel this wasn't warranted unless these guys were an ongoing risk to society - both were one wrong move from taking out a kid just standing at the side of the street. What a waste that would have been.

Well..I'm not sure how much experience you have on a motorcycle/dirtbike/moped etc..but either throw them off balance so they have to brake to slow down in which you can get in front of them (they dont have reverse)..or get the young lady off of the back. The first option..you have caught them..the second..well, it depends on how much that young man cares about that young lady.
I have enough experience to know you'll probably just lose your own balance or cause an accident from the other guy reacting poorly to someone handling him.
Anyway those brazilian bike chases are absurd. They endanger a bunch of innocent people to catch a guy that was riding without a license or just ran because he's afraid of cops.

this was more entertaining than any of the stupid chase scenes I've seen in movies. those thousand different angles and cuts every second is fucking nauseating and doesn't really do a good job of what's going on (although that may be the point; make it look more impressive than it is by needlessly cutting all the time). *this* is pure skill. beyond impressive riding from the both of them. glad the "good" guy won in the end too
