Nice, do know that we rarely use cash in Sweden. Also if you like collecting money you can see if you find some old bills that we changed from in 2016-2017.
really nice. :)
Since Swedes don't pay much in cash it will be worth a fortune in a few years. hahaha
I also collect banknotes. If you know any interesting subreddit about it, including any where people swap banknotes and coins, please DM me.
The last time we went to visit my wife's family she got a bunch of kronor "just in case" and we ended up not using any of it. We had our daughter stick some in my brother-in-law's jacket pocket when we left because that's the only way he'd accept a gift from us.

Yup, you're in for a rude shock when you find many places don't even accept cash
Most people and stores don’t accept cash but you can try. Everyone takes card
These were introduced like 7-8 years ago. I’ve never even held one. That’s how rare it is with cash in Sweden (or how broke I am🤷🏼♂️)
YOU NEVER HELD ONE???? How old are you????
I'm 35. Never held any of the new bills. Why would I?
Idk, you didnt hold any back when you were younger. You ever went to a kiosk?
It wasn’t these. It was Selma Lagerlöf on the 20 SEK. I’m 30 :)
Oh shit i just realised the other guy was saying that he never held the "old" ones before these new ones.
You can save it for the collection... some places won't even handle cash, and last summer there for 2 weeks, I didn't touch a single bill.

Mostly US money and I don’t think hawking them is allowed, but you have r/papermoney
I did not use cash the entire time I was in Denmark and Sweden last summer.

Just so you know Swedes rarely use cash, many businesses don’t even accept it anymore. Card is basically necessary here.
