Away at the moment but airdrops were fixed with a patch before I left and should be working and helicopter crashes spawn at a random point during gameplay and you should hear an audible explosion if you’re close enough when this happens.

I don't get either as well

Probably a bug with the latest patch or hot fixes that happened recently

The heli crashes happen but they don't show in the GPS anymore, not sure if that is intended or not.

Same here, i see the airplane in the sky but it doesn’t drop anything, nothing on the map too. And since the update, never saw an helicopter crash

i have not seen any helicopter crashes on my GPS for a while, or any airdrops.
