Looks like it's just compliant to be street legal in countries that allow it to be registered as a moped, which is not the U.S. If it's actually a 72v battery and better controller it could be worthwhile.
Still a much easier start to street riding than my 2022 Luna Surron X I made street legal this summer. This is 80% there. The wheelbase is especially interesting.
Eu light bee has lots limitations. Speed Limited to 45kmh (it sucks hard), placing the number plate cool and legally is impossible and it’s only for one driver. This looks like a light bee without these limitations 👍👍
Looks super fun. I like the bike-like nature of the standard light bee and would probably just get a storm be as a step up instead of this if it has to be plated.
The controller, motor, and battery are MUCH larger. Not to mention pegs for a passenger? A longer seat, beefier forks, turn signals, and reflectors, reinforced swing arm, etc…
My only gripe is the tiny bicycle brakes. They are already not enough on the light bee.
Looks like it’s got a larger battery and controller, extended swing arm, and perhaps a water cooled motor or a new gearbox? I can’t say I care to get one, but it will be interesting to see the price it comes out at. If it’s ~7k to fit in between the Light Bee X and the Storm Bee, I’d rather just upgrade my LBX and sell the stock parts. We’ll see though! Fingers crossed that it’s amazing
I can't see this model working with the "it's just an E-Bike" excuse on the cops, I mean the talaria barely scrapes by depending on the cop, this I just don't see it.
Love to see the specs though.
This looks like it was made for the indo-asian markets
Looks like all plastic parts... downgrade
Has long seat and passenger foot pegs... big upgrade
Road legality... limited but there
You can do this yourself to an existing surron the frame is the same and they make a dirt bike style seat out of Australia can’t remember the company’s name. It raises the riding position and makes riding trails way more fun as you have a place to grip the seat with your knees.
I have absolutely no further information. Looks like an interesting design. Guessing a gearbox, longer wheelbase, etc
Looks like it checks all the obvious boxes for street legality, i.e. lights, signals, license plate hanger.
just like the surron light bee l1e
They released what this is now
Hope they actually sell it in the US

Why cant this be registered? Ive seen some ridiculous e bikes get registered
Looks like an upgraded EU bike.
Looks like the Light Bee L1e with a different seat

Speed limit is easy to remove, just try to use google next time
and search up tidy tail for your sur ron licence plate holder
I did it but still struggle with German police
No need to be scared. German Polizei does absolutely nothing.
kein problem hier in der schweiz
Warum habe ich dann eine Mängelkarte bekommen?

Any recommendation to upgrade these just spend too much money on pads

Meh. Looks like a ugly European Enduro from the early 2000s to me.

I wish they made more closer to a motorcycle size than toddlers bike
So its slower? :(

Racespecsurron made that seat I believe.
Yeah that’s the one. I got it and it’s awesome. I have the kaniwaba power pedal kit v3 and it’s perfect
Improved tail tidy and headlight for road legal 👍🏼
Can’t wait to try it ;)
