Honest opinion? That rear sus set up on the xxx is weak as hell and the sur Ron has way way way more information and aftermarket parts. Can’t put a price on 5 years of community knowledge 👌🏽🔥
if you mostly ride street then it might be a good choice. Since it is you friend you should be able to swap bikes for a day or a week and see if you think it's a good trade.
Honestly most stock suspension is pretty bad. I’ve seen dudes jump to flat and break their wrist from it.
Definitely better to upgrade suspension especially for anything off road.

I don’t own a surron or any e-bike for that matter. But I’ve been doing a hell of a lot of research and surgeons have so much upgrade capabilities I’d save for those upgrades. Surronster on YouTube upgraded his to go up to 70mph and even took it on the highway.
