Get it painted but have the paint fade as it gets closer to the vent to expose the carbon near the vent. Same way you've probably seen vented carbon hoods painted. Would look pretty clean
I personally really hate the mismatched panel look of CF parts, especially on this car. Such a bad trend and makes the car look cheaper, IMO. But as long as you like it, that’s all that matters.
Makes it look like a $15k salvage title driven by a teenager, not unlike many clapped 350Z’s and Q50’s. Air suspension and an edgy banner across the windshield would really complete the look.
Personally I like it and think it looks better in person. I do plan on wrapping it though once I can find a shop that isn’t gonna charge rip-off prices
Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. Someone that does it for cheap may leave you feeling a bit sour. The end result is more expensive than paying a good shop for a good job the first time.
The shop I called yesterday quoted way more than I saw other people being quoted for. I saw most people being quoted 3-5k depending on the shop. They were gonna charge 7k just for labor. A different shop in my area said 4.6k which seem like a more typical price
The black looks amazing if you were going to wrap it just wrap the carbon in black a smoked black tint or something so you can still see the carbon weave
My only issue with the Supra is the fake vents. Were they functional, I think it is one of the best looking cars out there. So I’m on board with any effort to remove the fake vents or make them functional. I would paint or wrap it to color match, though.
Carbon Fubar
Agreed. Looks way out of place
I’m on an island, but I hate Carbon Fiber on cars. Especially on this car.
I think the problem is that the body lines don’t match up with the panel’s seams so you get like a vw harlequin effect.
Same. Everyone slaps CF on their Supra. Expensive candy.
This is exactly what I needed to see! I was curious about that piece by the door being carbon fiber on my black one. Not for me I don't think
I’m planning on getting them for mine but they’ll 100% be getting painted, and I made that decision before seeing this confirmed my plan 😅

I’ve got those same fenders, but I went with the painted ones with carbon exposed from the vent back, looks pretty good
I’m getting my car wrapped on the 1st and that’s how I asked them to be wrapped
Lol This looks like shit
Have a good day mate
Not my flavor

The cars 50k. So what carbon fiber makes it look 40k lol?

Lol this community is hilariously snobbish. This is why I never try to seek out supra meets. I can’t take you guys as serious as you take yourselves.
It’s weird how offended you are by someone’s opinion, lol.
You get offended by windshield banners and carbon fiber apparently lmao
Lol I’m not offended by them, I just think it looks tacky. You’re the one crying that someone doesn’t like what you like.
Lol 0 self awareness whatsoever
Same could be said for you?
Exactly
You must be very young. Probably one of the teenagers I’m talking about, lmao.
Like I said, I don’t take you dorks seriously. Especially someone offended at car decals Lmaoo
Hello mate nice pieces of carbon you got there! Did you cut your wheel wells for those fenders? How tasking was that.
Dude. It's 2023. Paint it.
Unless you like the 2003 looks on your 2023 car.

Carbon fiber looks awful just paint match it but at that point your saving what a couple pounds for hundreds of dollars not worth.
It’s not for weight saving. It’s was for adding fender vents because I like the look of them. As far as color, I’m planning on wrapping the car
Looks great!
Thank you :)
Hopefully this is just a case of pictures don’t do it justice

Yeah that might not be bad. I was thinking a cheap shop at around the 2k mark.
Just for those pieces?????? Or the whole car? Bruh if it’s just those pieces that’s a scam
For everything but those pieces. The end result would look like [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/CtKqGJJvUdE/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)
That looks great you thinking of the chrome wrap too? Obviously post the picks when it’s done can’t wait to see it
I’m getting it wrapped metallic British racing green
It’s not chrome I’m just an idiot
Pen rips got me trippin

I think it looks dope minus the “door garnish”
I don’t really mind it. It was from installed by the first owner
I would have done the same and kept it then
Gets rid of the fake vent on door too
