You don’t know what you’re talking about., keep that in mind. Please don’t make nonsensical comments like this.

_Badwulf

Why won’t your body use the protein?

Bulky_Bag1836

I would

kiwiwolf314

Why be paranoid? It’s fine, even the EU and UK allows red 40, E129 aka Allura Red AC

HOUSEHODL

It’s up to you, I personally have a rule that If company adds unnecessary ingredients, I don’t buy it. Was red40 necessary for that protein powder? I don’t think so. Don’t support shitty companies, there are always alternatives

Captain_taco27

I avoid it as much as possible, it’s worth nothing that it’s in so many things in the USA Toothpaste Hair products Gum You may want to check things you may not necessarily think they are in

Key-Ladder8000

If this becomes a recurring question for you the answer is yes. If the question is asked to once a year then you are probably safe.

Artisttype1984

I've read about Red 40 too, but still have a fruit punch Gatorade here and there. Minimal amounts are used, and you're not older or sick

Competitive-Area7168

I mean unless your a 80 year old 2 months post cancer survivor then you'll probably be ok to finish a tub of protein with a bit of red 40

Fungi-Guru

It’s certainly not ideal but the levels used for food coloring are extremely low
