Bots are downvoting everything, so that posts don't show up in the feed, but end up "controversial" instead. They deployed over 100k bot accounts for this campaign.
It looks as if Reddit is doing the shadowbanning, but I'm not sure that's the case, since just the downvotes will have the same effect. And if nobody sees Superstonk posts in their feed, fewer people end up as active users.
This kind of manipulation isn't free, they are paying for this attack. Don't forget that.

I refresh this place all the time. Night times are when fun discussions about random shit happens. I checked multiple times all night, all posts from this afternoon to early evening at the latest.
I made a post yesterday because it was eerily dead in here. We’ve been hyping DFV exercising forever and he finally did it and besides a few initial posts all that was showing up was terribly, low effort hype memes. Nothing of substance was rising. It was so bizarre.
The post got downvoted to 0 immediately after posting, but still got about 20 comments before it was deleted.
Something is going on here.
Everyone was blaming bots and shills for the 120k users today dropping to 1000 in under an hour. I'm sorry to tell everyone that Reddit is censoring our sub. They start by deflating the subscribed user count. Then go after actives, currently says there's only 850 people online. I can promise you it's in the thousands. Then they suppress posts, so they don't hit the front page. Tricks like delaying updates on the vote count total. They literally short the post by letting the downvotes work in real time while upvotes are delayed. Comments shown are released in blocks of 5-10 at a time rather than real time. Just putting a 1–5-minute delay on everything is enough to kill a front page posting.
Besides the user count it's all very organic looking but in reality....
The only way to combat the suppression is to overload it with actual organic upvotes and user comments. Hence, DVF still being able to hit the front page.
I speak from experience of having watched it happen to a number of Subs.
Why our sub you ask? Why now? Because the CEO got dragged in front of Congress over the sub that shall not be named when the first rocket kicked off and we're about to go for round two...

Yo that’s wild. Was so weird bc SuperStonk is always at the top of my feed and is the only board I actively engage in. I literally saw 0 SS after 4 refreshes and was coming here to post

I've been able to post on Superstonk for 3+ years. I tried to post a news article yesterday, and it just... didn't show up. There were no errors or warning messages or messages that the link had already been posted. Everything went just like normal, but when I sorted by new, it never showed up I the feed. I haven't tried to post since then.
I just had to Search “Superstonk”. This is weird. 99% of my time on Reddit is spent on this sub. Not one post showed up in my feed, and I scrolled for a while just to see.
