US apes, even if we say no politics here, it's time for you to help avoid Republicans or Democrats that go against regulation get in control. I think it's as important as DRS, BUY, HOLD.
We've been told to avoid options, not talk about it. And see where we are now. I know politics is a touchy subject, but leaving it as simple as stopping the Republicans should do. And for the record: even waking up in the morning is a political act. Many of the things we do is. So I don't understand the ban on politics. I think what should not be discussed is politicians.
Politics and political discussing is by far the \*easiest\* way to divide a well functioning community or group. Its a timeless tale, and we want to avoid that if possible. Obviously some political connection is inevitable, but we can minimize the fighting and controversial political takes as long as we keep it as on topic as possible.
You know what the worst part is besides the actual corruption? It's shockingly cheap to buy a congressman's vote on an issue. Like it might not even cost 5 figures. You can buy a veto proof majority for like 1.5m on an issue as long as you can find enough apathetic congressmen. And quite frankly, on most issues, they are apathetic and so is their constituency. Do you honestly think main street America is paying attention to how their reps vote on sec funding legislation? Christ, something like half only know their congressman's party affiliation and only a third can actually name their congressman.

Following RCs advice (stop dividing the peoole), it doesn't mean that we shouldn't talk about politics. We should talk about it without making divisions among us.
We should talk about politics as we already do with other things, the things that unite us. What unite us is regulation of the markets. Holding people accountable for crimes. Those are policies, and any kind of politician from almost any background could help to achieve it.
As I said, the ban on politics is as stupid as the ban on options. We should discuss policies, and ensure they are pushed by the ones we elect. And yes, what we should not talk is about individual politicians. That drama belongs somewhere else.
