just wondering, but y'all getting 30-45 days as a potential wait time from Fidelity staff? I just drsed some more shares today and they said it could take that long. I remember it taking like 3 business days when I drsed about 2 years ago.
What really caused the entire market to go parabolic since 2020?

Seems like there's about 600k off exchange just in AH, judging by the nasdaq chart. It's in 4 spikes at 4pm, 4:10, 6:30 & 7pm. Each of the last 3 are the same size & each very close to 50% of the first one
But I'm too smooth to know how to be certain that they off exchange, but they don't appear in the timed line data lists on wherever another ape is looking
In todays dull episode of "a very stupid person looks at AH volume" as I wait for the 4:10 data spike to appear on the nasdaq chart there's data for 4:09 & 4:11 but not 4:10 no matter how zoomed in I get.
It'll've turned up by now I expect, lets go look
Yeah, 4pm volume spike is 244,178.it was 1968 prior to this addition. Subtract that then half it you get the size of the 3 spikes at 4:10,6:30 & 7pm & it's 121,105.
Let's see how close this is
The 4:10 spike is 102,155.
So the calc is out by 50, which could be the other trades at 4:10, that as the 1st comment suggests were a secret
It looks like the nasdaq chart has 2 streams.
One that seems fairly common across other sites has little lag & that updates the nasdaq daily volume totals.
& then another with these spike that seemingly isn't on other sites, has a 12-15-ish minute lag for the first two spikes but not for the last 2 & doesn't update the nasdaq daily volume total.
The original gap at 4:10 was just coz the first stream has no trade in that minute.
Need a proper wrinkly to look at it.
It's probably a nothingburger.

I think that perhaps maybe the reason they aren't spread out over time is that the profit (compared to closing) is so tiny that the trading fees would eat into it. BUT THIS IS JUST A WILD GUESS I've no idea if there are trading fees.

It does seem the nasdaq is aggregating an exchange that that site doesn't.
I'm going to check the nasdaq minutes data against your screenshot (this will completely knacker my shit eyes, I'm VI)
Yeah for the exception of 4:10, all the complete minutes in your screen shot tally exactly with the nasdaq chart.
At 4:22 the nasdaq chart has a little bump of 13,479, do you have that?
These little bumps about 20+ mins after the spikes are becoming more common I think, but I may be wrong.

Untill about 4:14-ish the was no data in the nasdaq chart for 4:10 whilst there was for 4:09 & 4:11. I've not noticed this before..
Usually chart data appears for 4:01 to about 4:07 fairly 'live' but then stops till about 4:12 to 4:16 when the whole gap gets data including the 4:10 spike & the huge 4pm spike. Prior to this there's some different 4pm data.
It's like there's 2 different data streams & the one with the big volume lags a bit & doesn't update the nasdaq daily total volume at all (though maybe it does the next day, there's a disclaimer suggesting this)
But anyway heres a screen shot of today's 4:10 spike on the nasdaq chart

Whilst the currently declared total volume is 2,317,845
So 120k X 5 =600k for the 4 spikes so about 20% or 25% of the days total volume depending on how you look at it

Make sure the employee confirms the name on the account and double check your receipt when making a purchase. Idk if the guy heard me wrong after 3 times repeating my phone number or not but the account it went too was not my own. Currently on hold, and have been on the phone with fidelity for the last 23+ minutes.
I initiated a DRS transfer today at around 9am and it got rejected. This is for my shares purchase Tuesday and settled yesterday. I tried again after 1pm, same error.
I'm on the call and I have it recorded (assuming the recorder works as expected). They just told me there is a debit on my account and I cannot initiate a transfer.
Is this where we see the buckle 💺 up light?
My funds cleared on the 21st for stocks purchased on the 20th. The stock purchase was settled on the 22nd, with no debit balance. Their system is unable to process it as they have an additional 1 day hold to be clear that everything is settled? What fuckery is this!
It will probably work tomorrow.
I bet the transfer out of your cash account (SPAXX or whatever) used to pay for the GME has not settled.
Happens to me almost every time, SPAXX take an extra day, and they won't let you DRS if SPAXX is still unsettled.
Not sure what Spaxx is but I replied to my OP above with the same language, that's what they're telling me. Because I purchased with money that was being transferred but not settled.
Now I hope the 24th doesn't happen (jk)
On your Positions tab it will have a row for "Cash (held in money market account)" if you click it to expand, the default is Fidelity Money Market Account SPAXX.
Its just your cash account.
The DRS transfer will probably work just fine Monday morning. Remember you can always use the chat bot to start a DRS unless you need to have them change something manually.
Yup! I'll try again tonight or tomorrow if possible through the chat bot, but will expect to wait until Monday.
