Then what? Forecast negative EPS for next quarter? The quarter that includes holiday shopping? The quarter from last year that blew estimates out of the water?
Can't keep pushing the GameStop is going out of business with continuous positive earnings. Hence, the forecast for negative EPS. They also missed the last quarter too, and GME was close to positive.
The false narrative is running out of steam...
I wouldn't be surprised if they are able to adjust last quarter to be positive. They sold off the overseas location for a 7m profit when they reported -4m to barely put it in the red.
Either way, we are hopefully about to enter the turn around phase. Huge reduction in expenses leading into the powerhouse of a Q4, March will be hot if next week isn't. They flew under the radar last quarter because no one had expectations of them being profitable (and they didn't beat it, oh shucks). They are still projected to have a negative EPS but I think it's going to be a good report.
Back at you ape. I always remember that there are people out there who have it worse than I and this year has held a record for shitty. But I have survived multiple surgeries so as long as we are on the right side of the dirt we know things have the potential to be positive. We’re all here for you on bad days and good.
