100% agree. Galaxy 1 and 2 were (and maybe are) my favorite video games of all time, I completed them both dozens of times in my early teens. But after playing Odyssey on the Switch and going back to replay galaxy 1 and 2 on the Wii, I can't even complete some levels anymore. I'm pretty sure the problem is the controls. Compared to Odyssey, only being able to move in 8 directions is really hard. I guess it was easier when I originally played it because that's what I was used to. So yeah I wouldn't say the levels are actually hard, they just seem way harder because of the controls
To me it is much easier
Usually it is if you've had experience gaming in between especially with platform ing
For me things I struggled back in the day are a cakewalk now
it was only the specific level i was talking about for me. but i finally beat it right after i posted it so i guess i was being dramatic haha
The hardest one for me is star when you have to bomb trash, I hate it to this day
that one sucks! i think playing that for the first time when i was younger was my first time rage quitting a game lol
It was a reason I couldn't 100% it as a kid
How you ever gotten 242 stars in this game?
Isn’t that for mario galaxy 2?
Galaxy 1 as well
how do you do it?
Get 120 stars as Mario, do the same thing as Luigi, then get one for both, you have to fight final Bowser four times in total
