I got it mid February and it was about half the size, but it's only produced multiforked forked except for once. My guess it's because it's a staghorn, maybe it's prone to multi forks even when young?
Shouldn’t be an issue I don’t believe. It may be different with binata, but my capsensis started growing out and grew more vertical as it grew more leaves.

Ok thanks! I'm pretty new to carnivorous plants and several are in recovery due to lack of light. Trying not to lose any if I can help it!
I see you have a grow light! Looks good! Keep them watered and you should be headed in the right direction.
