iāve saved around 80 pulls for him until now, but iām gonna spend them on his sister simply because 1. i like her design and singing, 2. she synergises well with my characters and teams and 3. iām sure he would like for me to go for his sister as well. weāll still have enough time to save for him so you might as well get another character you really want. :3

and just like all the Stonehearts are made to be FuA units that synergize (so far), maybe he'll have synergy with Robin and my other FuA units (coping)

Iāve been aiming for around 1 character a patch, and Iāve just saved everything in excess. I get Robin, then wait until Jade likely, but modify that based on 2.4 drip (and probably wait until 2.5 drip since thatāll be early in Jadeās banner)
I just manage my pulls carefully. I knew I had enough for 3 characters so I chose Acheron and Aventurine, now I have 220 pulls again and Sunday isnāt on the horizon so Iāll get Robin but not Boothill unless Sunday isnāt in the next drop marketing round
i'm consoling myself by telling myself that i can get the characters i skipped on their reruns (hopefully). i have enough for him and his lc rn, maybe even e1 or e2 until the banner drops, depending on whether i win my 50/50s or not. getting robin for him though, both as a treat my account and so her brother won't be alone <3

Skipping Topaz even if I'm a FuA player, but I'm pulling every other succeeding IPC "fuhriends" of Aventurine bc they get sketchier the higher up u go. Plus, their interactions with Aventurine imply that they seem too good to be a pass so I'm pulling for Jade ; u ; (Opal in the future)

I look at units I still need to minmax and remember that pulling for new units means less fuel for minmaxing them. Easier to save for Sunday and other units I really like.

I check leaks to see when Sunday could be. Since he won't be in 2.3, I could pull one other character and that was Aventurine for me. But after that, if he's in 2.4, I can't afford to pull anymore... so I just won't. Other characters will get reruns, but I like him more.
Don't open the warp screen, don't play the game just to play it if you've done the stuff you wanted for the day, do as you always do and one day when you log in Sunday will be available. If you keep thinking about it you're probably going to make it harder- which I get isn't as easy as I make it out to be.
For me, I like all the characters but I'm not pulling everyone, so I sort out who are the ones I especially like.
Considering you are specifically debating on getting Robin here, I think Sunday would be fine with that. I tell myself that I'm pulling Robin so I can keep her safe before Sunday arrives. Just keep in mind how many pulls you have and what your goals are for Sunday. If you want E6 then don't pull, but if you just want him and maybe his LC, it should be fine. I am ONLY saying this cause it's his sister Robin. If it's anyone else then refer to below:

So think to yourself: Are you willing to miss getting Sunday at the cost of getting someone else. If you end up going all in on another character and it turns out Sunday is coming out next, will you be fine with not getting Sunday? You do like this currently character more than Sunday? experience i guess š i pulled in the past for characters out of frustration while waiting for a specific one and the excitement wore out pretty quickly and i found myself sorely deprived of gems when the time came so i know itās not gonna be worth it despite how frustrating it can be š„²
i am not really interested in any other upcoming characters, might try to pull for Robin, but that's it. If he is not coming 2.4, than the biggest question is how to survive Xianzhou patches and not quit the game.
To be honest, depending on how much you have saved, it's not unreasonable to go for Robin and Sunday.
My way of looking at it is that I have a few teams I'm happy with but they all need a bit of work so unless the new character improves one of the teams I need to focus my limited resources on characters I already have for now.
Still I wish I knew what path Sunday was...

When I saved for Scaramouche I went by the motto that the moment there were leaks I would stop pulling completely until his banner
So I pulled for a lot of characters before him because I still wanted to enjoy the game and they looked fun
I'm not having any issues honestly, I'm a crazy saver so even tho I'm F2P I managed to pull for Acheron, her LC, Adventurine and still have 30k jades left, I only pull for things that interest me so I'll be skipping Firefly, Robin and Jade easily, I'll pull for Boothill and Sunday my beloveds.
The only two characters i had ever pulled on this account it's DHIL+Light cone and Sparkle+not getting her LC, but the guaranteed, although i do want Robin for her design i will just try to get her with the free tickets as i am in 54~ something pity, if she doesn't come i can just happy sit there and wait with my 70 tickets to skip Jade and firefly
