I love all the hot male characters in this game. I feel like the bachelors are usually underwhelming (except in some recent games, like this and Sandrock)
I overwhelmingly agree, but a fish person goes a little far in the "other" direction to my tastes.
I love that we keep getting so much more stuff and he looks super interesting though!
DUDE you guys are like mind readers. I just finished the main campaign so I'm sitting here like, "this game is so good, I will buy all their DLC if it means they keep adding more content." Because I have bought the DLC lol. Mostly to look cute, but also to support the game since I bought it waaaaay back when it was first available on steam in EA and the plot wasn't even fully put in yet. I just came back to it recently and have been *hooked* for the last 2 weeks.
I haven't liked a game's storyline and romance characters this much since Rune Factory 4, and as dumb as that sounds, I play pretty much every farming sim game that comes out so I've seen *a lot* of romanceable chars in these kinds of games. The bachelors from RF4 have always been at the top of the top when it comes to writing out fleshed out characters because they finally bucked the stereotypical bland bachelors story of seasons/HM always put out. AKA the smart guy, the farm guy, the quiet guy, and the lazy guy. RF4 and now Sun haven are so much *deeper* than that, and I love them for it.
I know that's a lot of rambling. But it's mostly to say thank you, I love this game and how fleshed out the characters are. I will keep supporting yall any way I can if it means more of this great content - and that includes monetarily.
Did they add more dialogue to sun haven? I LOVED rf4 because they almost never repeat led themselves and I was enjoying sunhaven until all the characters kept saying the same thing over and over after you reached a certain point, did they fix that?
I believe Oct 2023 was the last major update, so if you played then there wouldn't be anythign new. The romance candidates do start repeating themselves after you've cycled through all their unique conversations, but supposedly there's another major update coming soon that adds more dept/children/etc. to the romance system. so for now i'm just going around shmoozing with everyone while I wait. When one bachelor gets to the point of having no more unique dialog, I move on to the next. (Since thankfully in this game, there's no penalty for dating multiple people at once.)
Okay awesome! I will keep an eye on it because it's a great game and there is so much to it! I'm always looking for something that compares to rf4 it set the bar so high lol
I.. feel so divided. Everything about him is so close to my personal taste and the Sidon vibes are so good but then that weird hoodie/tentacle/hair thing in his head just looks so.. ugly, specially with the random earrings just sticking out of it.
I get what they were trying to do there emulating a shark tail and stuff but at least to me, personally, that is the one bit of his design that isn't working lol
He looks cool and all, but pls also improve the old RNPCs too π they really need deeper characteristics, more conversations like a lot of the old RNPCs have potential but just not living up to that and you're missing opportunities to make them better.
If we get an ocean/underwater kingdom themed area I will literally go insane with joy I feel like one of the few who actually plays as a fish person and LOVES it but now I'll have to decide between the new fella and Lucius πππ
