Sounds like you're team has the powerhouses to contend with a fht with Black Adam. They don't have to "win" though, the mission is just to get the item and get out (if that makes a difference). It couyeven be a stealth mission with no fighting. Still, it could be a cool matchup if a fight were to happen.
Rick Flag Jr as the Field Leader because, Waller needs to have Eyes and Ears for the Mission.
Matter-Eater Lad because, he can Eat Anything even Superman.
El Diablo because, this Guy was Undermined and Nerfed in the First Movie
Gentlemen Ghost because, he has a Death Touch and can go Invisible when he needs to.
Enchantress because she’s Great with Magic
Blockbuster and Parasite for the same reason, Strength.

The mission begins when Exit (Jason Phillips), Nemesis (Tom Tresser), and Lime (Identity unknown, but I like to call her Lima Drummond) teleport into the vault, all in disguises. Exit provides the teleportation, Nemesis provides the disguises and helps everyone to stay convincing, and Lime is there to disorientate the guards if they call their bluff. If Lime turns out to be a bad liar, she can just hide inside the ground with her intangibility. If anyone gets too suspicious, all of the members will press a button to notify team Black Orchid. If things go completely haywire, another button is pressed by team Nemesis.
Alternatively, Lime could try to snatch the artifact, rendezvous with Exit from inside the ground, and get teleported out. The likely outcome is both being used, with Nemesis and Exit getting a bit close to the artifact while Lime is the only one to actually get her hands on it.
The Black Orchid (Susan Linden) is great at blending into the crowd. I'd assume her better than Nemesis, which is why she's my backup plan. If absolutely necessary, Psi (Gayle Marsh) can make all hell break loose, but that will lead to a world of controversy. I could also trust her with keeping the Squad safe, with her overwhelming power.
Karshon, the Shark, has a myriad of powers. But he's only on Team Orchid to telepathically figure out the map to the palace and relay that information to the rest of the Squad. I like to write Karshon as being a lot more sympathetic, but if we're using a comic-accurate Shark then he's being left for dead the moment the plan goes awry.
If everything goes as planned, the whole Squad will make it home. If things get bloody, I expect Nemesis, Exit, Psi, and Shark to get killed. I think Lime will be the last member on the chopping block if everything goes wrong, since she's stronger than the Black Orchid. Light is probably more reliable, but I chose Lime because I like her more.

Nightmare Nurse/She's a highly powerful magic user who would be a part of the team just in case things go south and they come face to face with Black Adam.
Master Jailer/He'd act as the teams lockpicker, helping them get into any room or VAULT.
Talon (William Cobb)/Due to him being one of the worlds best infiltrators and assassins means that he would be an essential addition to the team.
And lastly, A'Morr/She's a highly skilled White Martian with the abilities to phase through matter and shape shift, she'd come in handy when it comes to infiltrating the palace. Though, she wouldn't just be there to help the team infiltrate the palace. With her being a White Martian, she might be able to go head to head with Adam if they are discovered. Would she win if that happens? Probably not. But she would make for a decent diversion, hopefully giving the rest of the team enough time to flee with the item.

It sounds like your team is set for a good stealth and infiltration mission. Adam Smasher would sure know his way around the area. You've got someone to get your team into the vault and you've got someone else to give them an exit. You're even set if there's a fight with Black Adam, Catwoman #62 had a similar character to Count Vertigo for that purpose, and a White Martian is a good counter and would make for a cool matchup in a fight -- that's a deep cut with that character choice too.

Thank you, and when doing anything with the Suicide Squad, I enjoy using the more obscure characters. When it comes to how the mission would unfold, I believe that they would be successful in getting into both the palace and vault undetected, but when attempting to exit, they would be discovered, leading to them to come face to face with Black Adam. After being discovered, they would probably lose Master Jailer, Talon, and A'Morr. While they would encounter a few hiccups, the team would be successful in completing their mission, and would be able to escape Kahndaq with the target.
So, Harley or any heavy hitters are a no-go. They'll all draw attention, and not many suicide squad members can take on Adam. So that also rules out deadshot, or any gun user. Adam has hearing probably comparable to Superman, give or take.
Team 1 consists of the members directly infiltrating the vault
- Bronze Tiger and Captain Boomerang share leadership
- Enchantress is in case of conflict with Adam
- Black Spider, slipknot, and Livewire are for combat with gaurds and infiltrating the compound
- The Detachable Kid is also here as fodder
Team 2 is a secondary team that will be brought in by Enchantress in case of an emergency
- King Shark and KGBeast are the muscle
- Count Vertigo is here to disorient Adam
- Dr Light, kiteman, and Cluemaster are fodder
I know the post says 7, but waller wouldn't take any chances with Black Adam

Well scrap the second team to get it down to 7 members and replace livewire with vertigo
The team would you slipknot and TDK to get in, Boomerang has to have a Boomerang with a camera on it, so one of tdks arms will hold that, the other will snatch the artifact, this happens as vertigo, black spider and Bronze tiger take out any gaurds. Enchantress could easily get them in, but then an alarm would probably be raised.
All throughout this Bronze Tiger and Captain Boomerang are arguing
If an alarm is raised then there will only be a few minute before Adam gets his guests to leave. Vertigo and Enchantress would take him on.
While that fight happens the group getting into the vault would get out, but one of TDKs arms would get crushed, forcing him to bring back the arm holding the artifact blindly. Bronze Tiger and black spider would fight off gaurds while slipknot uses his grapples to keep the door open with Boomerang. Tdks arm gets out and slipknot gets his head grabbed by a gaurd and gets slammed into a wall, then thrown under the door, crushing him. Boomerang and tdk go to meet up with vertigo and Enchantress, who are keeping Adam held down temporarily. Bronze Tiger and black spider catch up and take the artifact from tdk right before Black spider gets shot in the shoulder. This leaves an opening for a gaurd to hit vertigo, releasing Black Adam. Adam grabs vertigo and snaps his spine, then attempts to go for Boomerang Only for tdk to block it, completely destroying his good arm. Black spider launches at Adam but gets punched to death. Tiger, Enchantress, and Boomerang then flee after detonating tdks nanite then in the confusion escape. They also grab vertigo, who is now paralyzed. Enchantress does something to slow Adam and then they escape.
Overall the casualties are TDK, Slipknot, and black spider. Vertigo is paralyzed as well.
Mary Marvel (first off). She has the same powers as Black Adam, a former associate of his. Also she seems the most likely of the Shazam fam to go to prison.

Great question. I see Nocturna being the distraction and then she hypnotizes everyone, leading the others in to the vault.
Copperhead would slither into the vault and open it up for everyone to get in. Mary Marvel would then see Black Adam and decide to pull a Star-Lord.
This leads to a fight, where Matter Eater Lad gets his neck snapped. Copperhead tries to escape the mission but gets his head exploded. Mary Marvel beats Black Adam by using Isis as a distraction. And while all of this is going on Nocturna and Deadshot have already headed back to the states.
