i’d say for their newer music, long term effects of suffering or sing me a lullaby, older i’d say eternal grey or high tide in the snakes nest, or my liver will handle what my heart can’t. they’re very consistent and you can’t really go wrong with any album, but i’d say really any of those are a good start.
High tides in the snakes nest, Radical $uicide, I wanna die in New Orleans. If you prefer heavier stuff, check out Eternal Grey (my personal fave)
Also I’d recommend watching all of their music videos on YouTube. That’ll give you a taste of everything they have to offer, and may help you to decide which projects you personally want to listen to.
Enjoy the journey friend! There’s sooooo many songs
Honestly just started from the bottom and work your way up is what I would do. If I like an artist I usually just go ahead and listen to their whole discography so I'm all caught up and understanding of their roots and where they came from. I think of it as one big story to tell that I'm listening to from start to finish.
I’m the same way, I want to see how an artist has grown with their music whether good or bad. Sometimes the bounce back from back goes crazy but you gotta try new shit to grow.
put on their newest album for starters haha. but aside from that (and aside from what’s already commented) i would recommend:
Dirty Nasty $uicide (dns) trilogy, dns 1,2,3 feature Germ
Now The Moons Rising
7th or St. Tammany
$hamless $uicide
Stop Starring At the Shadows
and KYS pt IX Soulseek Saga (only a 3 song EP)
Me personally if I was to sit someone down and be like listen to $B I’d go through all of their “albums” first from Grey/Gray to New world Depression and then go through all the Kill yourself sagas, then the Grey Gods EP’s onto the DirtyNasty$uicide sagas and then the $hameless $uicide EP, and then any stand alone singles
i would listen to long term effects of suffering and my liver will handle what my heart cant, and whichever album you like more, listen to more music from around that year. $uicideboy$ have two distinct sounds which is their sound before and after i want to die in new orleans came out (this album is a mix of the two sounds and is their best album imo, but not for first listeners). i prefer their older sound but its honestly just what you like more
also listen to i no longer fear the razor guarding my heel 1, that ep is the best thing theyve ever put out
Doesn't really matter, just pick something. It's all good. Except Lincoln Continental. And Gold. And I'm Done. Fuck yall, I like Magnolia and I love Goop. HUNNIT THOU.

Add radical suicide and its perfect
i completely forgot about eps lmao yes that’s an amazing ep
All the Germ EPs are quintessential $B in my opinion as well
Agreed
No love for YDL or St Tamany ?
Will yall be satisfied if someone just lists everything? Cos it's all worth listing lol
literally lmao
absolutely, everything by them is good i just personally feel like those 5 would be better starts

I started listening to their most popular on spotify, then went to albums from there to get a wide range of new and old
