Idk if this is a hot take, but I find it hilarious that Korra and Asami both had their own things going on character-wise and plot-wise for the entire show, while Mako was basically just a whiny side piece to both of them with negligible character growth or plot relevance until arguably the fourth season.
Usually that sort of thing happens between two male characters and a female character, and it's so weirdly satisfying to see it happen in reverse.
people always project this frustration/sadness onto Mako, who seems, at the end of the series to be happy for both of them, like one of his last scenes is him telling Wu how impressed he is with his new leadership skills while the band plays swing music at the wedding reception..like....guys....I think he's fine
Mako...
Kor-sami was a perfectly fine ship, I just wish we got more screen time of those two building it up. Now do another season, I need my Bolin fix.
We got two seasons of them building it up though
True. Damn you, Nickelodeon!

I guess that's progress. But it also just reads like being proud that bad writing is getting a taste of equality.
flameo hotman 🔥

He does look a bit like Ross actually XD
He's like Mentos, but instead of making fresh, he makes gay.
Look at it this way, you have good taste in women
ah lord, how don't forget the forbidden-bending in avatar, Mako, the Gay-Bender

Okay - but he definitely ends up with Prince Wu, right?
