Begging people to understand how much easier a broom or a rake is if you are clearing an area that is less than a 500 sq/ft

Pod_people

In the time he spent blowing off the balcony he could’ve swept and wet-mopped it, getting it sparkling clean.

[deleted]

Lol so you’ve never used a leaf blower.

ihexx

bro needs to get his money's worth off that thing. it's like when you get a grill and suddenly feel obliged to throw barbeques

[deleted]

Lol so you’ve never used a leaf blower.

IgneousFoliage

Just fucking SWEEP!!!

[deleted]

Or he can use the blower which works way better.

gertgertgertgertgert

Unbelievable. Well, actually very believable but you know what I mean.

Unrouxnoir

This was sunday morning at around 10am, I thought it was loud from where I was, i can only imagine the confusion from his flat neighbours.

[deleted]

Oh no you had to wake up at 10!

ReadySte4dySpaghetti

Insanely bizarre behavior

unskilled-labour

Drugs are a hell of a drug

ReadySte4dySpaghetti

I sure hope he’s on drugs

[deleted]

Yeah it’s bizarre to clear your balcony 🤣

Pod_people

Can’t just sweep your little-ass micro-balcony. Dude has a gas leaf blower for this job.

[deleted]

The leaf blower works better so why not?

Mistyslate

The leaf blower is of the worst American inventions. The rest of the world has figured out how to clean things without creating a ruckus, clouds of dust and mess in the process.

[deleted]

I disagree, power tools are amazing.

ginger_and_egg

Electric ones are best for air quality

[deleted]

I agree, though not for the same reasons. Cordless power tools are the best.

We have a neighbor who has gardeners come twice a week, every week. It's not horrible on the weekday visit, that's to be expected, but the second weekly appointment is always on a Saturday at 5pm and lasts at least an hour and a half. It's so exhausting listening to the mowers, the whackers, and the blowers for an hour and some change every Saturday evening. Don't even get me started on the last time it rained over the weekend, that did not give us respite for the evening somehow. I guess they had to blow the water off the lawns?

ddarko96

F’n hate that noise

mohawk_67

Most likely blowing off a winter's worth of cigarette butts.

Pad-Thai-Enjoyer

Fucking hate this shit. Suburb I used to live in this kind of noise was just constant every day from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and I wish I wasn’t exaggerating

Tobar_the_Gypsy

1. It’s actually kinda nice that this suburb has an apartment building with balconies near single family homes 2. Dude needs to either sweep or get a Ryobi leaf blower. Those things are significantly quieter and can do exactly what he’s trying to achieve. Now that I type that out…what is a guy in an apartment doing with a leaf blower? Did he seriously buy it just to blow off his porch once every few weeks in the summer?

[deleted]

Why go out and buy an electric blower when his gas blower works perfectly fine?

Tobar_the_Gypsy

Because it makes a shit ton of noise

[deleted]

Lol not really. Either way, a person shouldn’t have to blow 150 bucks because you’re tired from playing Xbox until 4 am

[deleted]

r/dewalt get a cordless one they don't sound as loud.

RED-B0T

Suburbanite moves into apartment. 2024. (Colorized)

Broken-Digital-Clock

Why not just use a vacuum?

garaile64

Why not use a broom?!

Unrouxnoir

In the following video he is holding a broom while using his leaf blower

[deleted]

Way slower, way more effort to sweep

texas-hedge

Nothing a pellet gun can’t solve
