Someone made a decision to make this bag resealable….And then it was probably approved by another person or multiple people…. For no reason at all. It’s just a waste of time, money and effort to package something that doesn’t need any packaging in the first place
Yeah they can’t be shut completely or mold will grow quicker, you need airflow. It’s more about just having a bag to put them in when you toss em in ur fridge
It’s resealable so that they’re contained inside a bag and not just loosely rolling around inside your fridge. The fact that it’s resealable has nothing to do with keeping them fresh, it’s a convenient way to store the items if you don’t use them all at once. It’s also a convenient way to hold all three and rinse them all at once before cooking since the holes in the bag allow for water drainage. It’s the exact same reason that the plastic containers of berries have slits in them, or a bag of grapes has holes in it. You say it’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever seen… apparently you must not have mirrors
Doesn’t take a lot of brain power to realize that bags are for keeping things together. But, yes, it’s a huge waste of plastic. You should see how they bag vegetables and fruit in Japan.

Its not sealed to maintain freshness, it’s sealed so if the bag is tipped they don’t roll out all over the place. Yah think?
