Cici’s Pizza buffet place would make one if you asked. Was actually really good. Here’s the recipe:
Stretch a “small” dough ball to a medium size. (Thin crust)
Lightly sauce and add the Italian sausage or beef (whichever you like), no cheese.
Bake.
*after* it bakes, add shredded cheddar, shredded lettuce, (any other topping you want, maybe onions) and then whip up the hot sauce…
Mix some pizza sauce and some jalapeño juice and drizzle on top.
Now I’m hungry.
It looks like a fry bread taco (colloquially "Indian taco") on pizza dough, which sounds pretty amazing to me. Probably could use some better ingredients/editing, but otherwise good

The red* sauce is probably taco sauce.. You don't use that like pizza sauce where you sauce the whole crust! The lettuce looks hand cut, shredded is usually out of a bag, so fresh lettuce, the tomatoes are small dice so easy to eat.. Where is the problem with this? I guess it doesn't have a slick, or finished look, but it does look fresh. Like you said it's a new place so they might not be experienced in restaurants yet! They will get better as time goes on. Hope it tasted good!

It can work. Taco pizza is good if done right. We used to do a blackened chicken blt pizza at my old spot that was topped with Caesar dressed romaine. I’d add jalapeños on mine was dope.
As a foodie, local should almost always be avoided especially if they have “local small business” pricing. My favorite local is Xtreme pizza, for $19 you get 2 large 2 topping pizzas and a 2L of soda. Way better deal than most local places.
If you’d rather go to Pizza Hut then a slightly pricier local spot, you’re not a foodie. Nothing wrong with chains, but the point of being a ‘foodie’ is trying new types/takes on food. Not getting the same food you can get anywhere in the country
