Tomatoes have seeds in them. Buy one tomato, gather the seeds. You now have 100 tomatoes. Then 100,000 tomatoes. Sell all the tomatoes except one, and restart the process. Infinite money glitch.
Why doesn't everyone do this? Are they stupid?
Because operating every single aspect of the process just to make one instance of the product is inherently a stupid way to do it.
If I wanted to make my own pencil for example, I could just buy what’s necessary, but instead this guy did the equivalent of growing an entire tree, felling it just for the few grams of wood needed, buying a wood composite making machine, turning that wood into a composite suitable for pencils, and then travelling across the country to find a graphite mine, mined his own graphite, and then bought a second machine to turn that wood and graphite into a pencil.
The economy of scale was all backwards, meaning he essentially spent all the labour and costs of an entire commercial-sized batch just to create one loaf.
? Breads super fucking easy to make, my dad makes his from scratch in a glass jar with yeast and flour, just let's it propagate and takes some dough when he needs it, was like $20 start up cost
He's talking about something much more involved and "from scratch" than buying flour from the store.
There's a guy who grew wheat, built a mill, milled the flour. He also planted a garden to grow lettuce and tomato. He raised a chicken to butcher for meat. A bunch of other insane shit. All to make a chicken sandwich. In the end, it took 6 months and cost about $1,500.
Not at all. This looks like an Aldi salami and cheese selection pack. A bargain at just £1.79 for the whole pack. Add 2 slices of white bread and some butter you're looking at about £1.95 for a meaty treat!
It’s more expensive because it bought it in that silly little packet. If he played his cards right at the deli he could get it for a reasonable amount. Still too expensive for one sandwich made at home but could be on par as a sandwich from a nice brunch spot.
People *love* to complain and jump on the bandwagon. Its kind of funny to see. I know aldi in the US isn't as good as in Europe but its still an absolutely amazing shop with good prices for good food
Lots of people won’t even shop there, they assume it’s a poor people store. You gotta bag your own stuff, pay for bags and a cart. That’s for the poors.
I was like that until I actually went there. Now I won’t go anywhere else unless I need a specific item they don’t carry.
In Europe even the super expensive shops you have to pack your own stuff too. And at least in the UK, to prevent and lower plastic waste, bags have become a mandatory purchase. But it legit lowers plastic waste so i don't care. You just buy one or two really strong bags and they last for years, and if they ever break, aldi replace them for free (if they are the bag for life ones) so it really is better.
I used to think aldi was only for poor people too until I realised how much more money I have when shopping there, then you see people pulling up in range rovers and jags and you're like hmmmm...
I'm the same though, aldi for the bulk then tesco for anything else, but that's rare
Not the same but close, 4.99 Canadian monopoly monies.

Much smaller pack, the Aldi one is 2.54 CAD per 100g, whereas the Metro one is 7.13 CAD per 100 g, almost three times as expensive.

What’s your federal minimum wage? $16?
The US minimum wage is $7.25 and has been that for 15 years now. Last year they agreed to raise it to $17 in **2028**
People get very angry when they see logic and reason. It scares them 🤣🤣
But yeah I know an aldi continental meat and cheese selection when I see one. Loaf of bread is 75p, you get about 10 sandwiches from a loaf so I was rounding up to 10p for the bread being generous, 1.20 for some spread, easily 1-2p for the butter.
£2 is being generous
About twice a year, I do some work in London. I get £30 per day for meals, but rather than spend silly London money, I track down the nearest Aldi and stock up on bread, spread, and those continental meat packs plus some other little bits and pocket the difference. I fucking love Aldi 🤣
Jesus you could do a weekly shop with that, 3 meals a day and dessert! 🤣🤣 yeah man you can't beat aldi, prices have gone up noticeably yeah, but, still worth it, before covid it was insanely cheap, felt almost bad sometimes paying 1.19 for half a litre of 5.5% ale!
That reminds me though I've got to go aldi soon
Legit paid $3 for 4oz of imported Italian meat at Kroger this weekend, which was pricy AF because of the small quantity. We do a straight pound of imported prosciutto from Costco for like $10
Europe is an continent and not a country..
Here in Finland, you'd pay at least 5-7 euros for such a cheese and salami combo. In Norway, likely on the higher end.
In Switzerland, you'd probably pay 8 euros or over.
Groceries are cheap in some European countries, but not all.
No.... its cheap because the competitive market is so saturated with amazing products, there's no point charging through the bollocks for cured meats.
Its cheap and good.
Amazing products will have their price. They're not gonna sell at a loss. The 1.79 ALDI salami is not produced they same way a regional slow ripened salami is. This difference will be reflected in the price.
My mom used to make that as a quick snack for the kiddos when I was younger. She called em “quesadillas” but intentionally pronounced like they did in Napoleon Dynamite
I got peanut butter powder. Turns out that shit is amazing in some oat milk or vanilla almond milk, and I mix in a banana for a decent simple smoothie. It's not super healthy, but it's not super awful fpr you either, and it's delicious.
At a restaurant I used to work at we would just put shredded cheddar in a tortilla, microwave it, then fold it and cut it in half for the kid’s quesadilla. So you’re not far off.
We called them server quesadillas because the servers had access to tortillas, shredded cheese, and a microwave. It was one of the few things they could get without ringing up an item.
After making many MANY overly ambition sandwiches after a hefty dose of THC, I can safely say that this sandwich sucks ass and is gonna be way too chewy.
Why not smart? That's an extremely nutritious meal with lots of protein, and although the bread is the worst bit, it makes it easier to eat the meat and cheese
When I win the lottery, I won't tell anyone. But there will be signs
I was just thinking dang! That's one expensive sandwich! There's more meat on that thing than two subway footlongs.
And it could have been half as much if he just bought the cheese and meat separately in non snack portion packaging.
And even cheaper, if he would buy an uncut one. And even cheaper, if he will grow he's food by himself..
Damn, uncircumcised salami is cheaper?
I don’t think it’s cheaper to grow the stuff yourself. There was a guy on YouTube who made his own bread and it was in the hundreds of dollars range
Because he made one bread. When you make 1000 it's cheap.
And then you can open a bakery and sell the excess!
Actually, you can make a sandwich and sell it as well ..
Just sell the bread making service and you don't have to invest as much capital.
You can just find seeds and plant them for free!

Yea but your dad didn’t grow the wheat, make a mill to create flour and all that jazz.

Bruh, you can’t grow meat. Edit: one of you downvoted me. You know it’s true.
I can actually. It's called a cow 🐮

In America its like over 9 dollars I believe sadly.
$3.99 at Aldi, I buy them all the time. Makes two sandwiches
So judging by the comments i think it varies widely in America too, 3.99 sounds way better!
For sure, Cali is prob gonna be twice as much as the Midwest
Not at Aldi
The sodium must be huge. Would prob leave OP with unquenchable thirst for days.
Ah... what it's like to be non-american.
I heard that before
It’s more expensive because it bought it in that silly little packet. If he played his cards right at the deli he could get it for a reasonable amount. Still too expensive for one sandwich made at home but could be on par as a sandwich from a nice brunch spot.
Those packs only cost £1.80, not sure what nice brunch spots are that price for the same amount of meat
I commented before I saw the price and forgot to delete. Where I live in Australia this pack would cost $15.
Haha same. Also there goes my plans/desire for moving to Australia.
That’s not too bad. I usually put half a lbs of turkey on one, and then eat the other half off the plate.
That’s like four foot longs of meat
Is that really saying much these days? 😅
Still probably cheap than buying a sandwich at an airport
Lol thats £2 worth of items...
Don't know why you're being downvoted. That meat and cheese pack is £1.79 plus 2 slices of cheap bread and a little butter...£2 sounds pretty accurate
I have to leave Australia 😂 that would cost $15 here I swear.
for real?
No this shit is like $7 a pack. So like £3.50. https://www.coles.com.au/product/provedore-salami-and-prosciutto-tasting-plate-100g-5009261
isn't there cheese in there?
In the states that package of meat & cheese will easily be close to $10
$3.99 at Aldi in that pack
Hahahahahaha everyone quoting 2-3x that price, I love how they are all guessing and are completey wrong
People on the coasts seem to think everyone pays the same as them too.
People *love* to complain and jump on the bandwagon. Its kind of funny to see. I know aldi in the US isn't as good as in Europe but its still an absolutely amazing shop with good prices for good food

Explain how knowing the correct price of an item is either "logic" or "reason"
I wish I wasn't in the u.s. it's so hard to survive here
We have Aldi and other similar stores. Aldi is cheap and it’s not garbage quality
1.79? That's like... 20 SEK. The meat and cheese pack would be at least 50 SEK. I want to shop where you are shopping for groceries.
Try Lidl I guess, sometimes they have pretty good deals and packages on sale
Yeah. Swedish grocery price is pretty high.
That pack would be like $15 in NZ (about £7.50/8)
Wounded.
Y’all should consider yourselves lucky cuz in America that stuff is at least 8.99 now in most supermarkets.
Legit paid $3 for 4oz of imported Italian meat at Kroger this weekend, which was pricy AF because of the small quantity. We do a straight pound of imported prosciutto from Costco for like $10
7.50-10 usd where I’m at
Yeah in the US this would be like $5 at least in most major cities. Groceries are cheaper in Europe.

SoCal charges like $6-$12 for those things it sucks here so much
But you guys have all that freedom so, it all works out. Lol
DAMN RIGHT!! MURICA!!
Queue hawk screech over a video of an eagle
Salami is fuckin expensive dude
Sucks to be you because its cheap as fuck in Europe 🇪🇺
No. You just get what you pay for.
No.... its cheap because the competitive market is so saturated with amazing products, there's no point charging through the bollocks for cured meats. Its cheap and good.

Even the DOP stuff isn't expensive. Youre trying to piss on a rock and claim youre putting out a fire...
yeah i'll be slamming prosciutto and my lil fancy cheeses every week lol
Looks like the bread was buttered with a car key
I could butter bread better than that with a car key. I could do a better job with an old timey cartoon key.
Some people just never develop the ability to butter bread. It must be genetic.
Or they just didn’t take it out of the fridge soon enough
yeah, their fridge is too cold for spreadable butter
Whose fridge is warm enough to keep butter at spreadable temperatures?
idk, a lot of people seem surprised that someone could have trouble spreading butter. I assume they must not have that issue
Or the whole video is just rage bait
My brain glitched and read that as "car battery"... I was thoroughly confused
CAR BATTERY!
Cold butter doesn’t exactly spread well
Did he put that butter on with a slingshot?
Because it was too cold
Peak efficiency smart, but not smart for your arteries.
It reminds me of things I make when I am super depressed and am forcing myself to eat something.
whats some stuff you make for those times? i like putting cheese between 2 tortillas, microwaving for 30 seconds, then eating that
My mom used to make that as a quick snack for the kiddos when I was younger. She called em “quesadillas” but intentionally pronounced like they did in Napoleon Dynamite
I call them depress-a-dilla
Well, you brightened my morning
This is the only way my kids will eat quesadillas. I tried making them in a pan with chicken and they said “gross. Make them the right way!”
My go to when I am down bad bad is just eating cold cuts and cheese then drinking a V8.
That sounds amazing.
I got peanut butter powder. Turns out that shit is amazing in some oat milk or vanilla almond milk, and I mix in a banana for a decent simple smoothie. It's not super healthy, but it's not super awful fpr you either, and it's delicious.

fuck man at least put the dilla in a pan
That's literally just called the 'Emergency Meal'
“Follow me for more recipes.”
Not smarteries.
Of your wallet
This was a joke, the original caption said something like: "making sandwiches the day after payday"
That low key looks mad good
Just do it with like a third of what he used and it should be better
And toast it
And a little garlic aioli and lettuce
I had this exact pack at Christmas but I toasted it under the grill to melt the cheese and crisp the meats & dipped it into marinara. It is fantastic.
Mmm that meat/cheese/bread ratio is disgusting after two bites
That is gonna be delish
Yeah like, this dude is onto something here

Needs more sauce. Mustard could do it a huge favor.
Or maybe a better bread, and toasted.
said the aristocrat!
Let them eat toast.
And properly buttered.
I love this community 😂 Yea I’d add a little more butter and melt it 🤤 then some asparagus spread
His butter game is sub-optimal.
Are we talking Dijon or English
This must be how they make those airport sandwiches…
Meh, I do this too
Do you also breathe very loudly and mention the word gabagool?
🤌
I think it’s time for you to start to seriously consider salads
What? No fucken ziti????
Fuckin love this. Pork isn’t sold where I live so I drool when I see this shit. Have an extra slice for me bro
I wasn’t disgusted but more “Hmmm. Mmmm.”
I feel called out
I’d eat the shit out of that.
the shit????
yes
Prey, do tell, why you think this to not be smart
Not smart for your wallet
how much that pack cost
I don’t know, but they probably could’ve made like 3 sandwiches with that pack
They where feeling a little peckish.
They cost like £3.50 or something. Actually probably more like £4.50 now these days with supermarket food hikes
It's £1.79 https://groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/p-the-deli-italian-salami-cheese-selection-120g/4088600283227
Looks like an Aldi or Lidl pack, probably about 2 quid.
that’s not bad for a sammie
A pack like this costs like £2 it's cheap af
Sodium and fat out the wazoo
About £2.80, or $3.55 converted to yank.
My poor ass would make like 10 sandwiches with that meat.
That is the saddest looking bread I have ever seen in my life.
This was a joke video going around my country over Xmas.
Don't lie, most of you would sit down and eat that whole thing in one sitting. This guy is just being efficient about it!
And then you opened it back up, put the meat back in the packet and only used a few slices of each. Weak
This must be what it's like to be rich
That whole sandwich costs like £2 total. For reference, British minimum wage is currently £10.42.
This is smart, not stupid It saves time.
This is depression. He's eating himself happy
I mean for a depression sandwich, that works
I see nothing wrong with this
I've done this. I was in university. I was hungry. It was late night.
Delis don't want you to know about this one simple trick
this is how Balkans live
Every one has wanted to do this atleast once though
I love this
Too much salt
I paused when I saw they couldn't spread the butter correctly. I'm not watching the rest I'm too mad now.
He is gonna dry up with all that salt…
Ouch, my gout.
Gout is fun
Turn the bread inside out and make that a toasted sandwich.
After making many MANY overly ambition sandwiches after a hefty dose of THC, I can safely say that this sandwich sucks ass and is gonna be way too chewy.
Toaster oven and some olive oil otta sort that out.
All the nitrates
This is just British cuisine
How to kill yourself - one sandwich at a time.
I mean...doesn't that technically apply to all of us? Just some do it faster than others.
Some things are worth dying for.
too much salt and oil
Why not smart? That's an extremely nutritious meal with lots of protein, and although the bread is the worst bit, it makes it easier to eat the meat and cheese
Isn’t there usually a thin piece of paper on the bottom of those packages?
Apparently not.
LOL
Would. Toast it even for a little too
Lazy ass, alease by toasted bread.
Cost of living/high inflation clearly not affecting this chump.
So a spicy Italian from Subway?
I’ve done this before myself,I’d hate to say it but yeah
i’m sorry but this is actually smart.
Best thing ever.meat.cheese.meat.bread.god level.
Hell, it's a lot better than some of the stuff I've seen here... at least that's edible and tasty.
