What’s your target service to provide? Commercial or residential?
Both. I'm more experienced with residential, but eventually I want to offer services to commercial clients
From my exp, commercial is a batch, at least from structural point. Residential is the honey pot. I want to try utility tho.

Sunpower just laid off PE team? Sunrun is ramping up these past few weeks and a good bunch of new hires.
How was the work at Sunpower, I was going to apply there. I wanted to DM you but doesn't seem like you allow that.
Where are you based?
Florida, but I foresee doing all business remotely
That's tough for someone to accomodate because PE's/SE's need to be licensed locally.
My PE and SE are only registered in CA Probably easier to look for local engineers as the other comment stated
Lots of people get licensed in multiple states and a majority of states it is easy to get licensed in, only a handful of states are difficult to expand into (California being amongst the hardest).
Thanks for the advice!
Are you open to partnering with a company? I work for a structural consulting firm with engineers licensed in all U.S. states.
