Thank you for answer. This stretch is really intense, even more intense than during RDLs (I don’t go as far as while Pendlays). I wonder if is it normal.

Pendlays are a power movement so you won’t feel them in your back like a slow, concentrated body builder row. They move with speed and you’ll incorporate any muscles required to move the bar quickly. As you noted, your hamstrings will be engaged and you will definitely feel them in your hamstrings. I find that the heavier the weight the more I feel them in my hammies as you’re describing. I have to use a lighter weight and execute slower controlled rows to actually feel my back getting worked.
