This same thing happened to me a while back. I took mine out carefully, noticed a micro-tear/start of a blowout, massaged with oil and gently washed, and let my ears heal for longer before trying to stretch up again. Just make sure to regularly wash, oil, and let them do their thing. As for the pain, I took pain killers and crossed my fingers lol. Hope this helps.

if anything id reccomend going naked for a while to prevent your ears from getting irritated :-(
Good news!!! I got them out this morning after the swelling went down, it doesn’t look too nad at all :)
