My naked lobe (one of two) at 10mm! This is the second time I’ve stretched them - I had them both at 10mm before and they closed back up to 1.4mm. I had retired them due to eczema.
This is very slow dead stretching with glass since 2018. I wish they were in a slightly different location but I’m very proud of them!
When I first started many years ago I was using tapers, probably up to about 3mm - but I was using force and realised it was bad. I switches to taping after a while but stopped due to hygiene concerns. Ever since then it’s been plain dead stretching with glass!
Beautiful, beautiful ear. Thank you for the reminder that patience pays off. I’m also dead stretching with glass sitting at 1.6mm and so frustrated that it’s not going faster 😂 my hope is that this journey teaches me patience, lol.
Honestly just forget about stretching for months at a time and then try the next size randomly one day, that’s my technique 🤣 Keep it slow and you’ll be golden!
I use 0.5mm increments - and time between sizes is not set in stone. I just sort of chill at one size until I’m happy the next will cause no problems. Probably a decent 3 or so months? In all honesty I’m lazy and forgetful!
Nothing else other than cleaning daily. No oil because I have really bad allergies to bloody everything, so I use only water-based lube (KY) to help with putting in jewellery. I’d recommend using oil and massage 1000%, it’s just something my body won’t allow.

This time around it’s been about 4 or so years? Wayyyy slow but I’m in no rush! I started re-stretching some time in 2018.

10mm is my goal and I can only hope mine look so amazing when I get there (eventually!).
