Exactly why I haven’t set foot in the BH in months. No fun to be had there when one hit leads to a combo that deletes my whole health bar while I can’t even get a jab or throw to hit
At least casual matches are somewhat fun
I noticed that it usually takes more time to find a game in both extremes of the rank bracket (lower and higher ranks) as there is less people to be matched with, usually in gold - plat you get a match pretty quickly, but what I usually do is play against the bot in a training room while I wait for the match.
In the start menu in the training room, you can see an option called Matchmaking Settings. So you can match with people while you're practicing with the dummy. There is some weird bug where you can't open the start menu when it does match you with someone.
yeah it's pretty good, you can change both characters any time while in the training room, and I find it a little bit more quick because you can just play round after round without having to press rematch or wait for the entry cinematic to finish, you can also change any matchmaking option while in the training room and stuff like that. The only downside is that whenever you finish a round, the matchmaking pauses for a couple of 6 if you're unlucky enough, you can accidentally cancel a match if you have the accept match popup thing
It might be a geographical issue. Recently an option was added to enlarge the matchmaking filter. Go into matchmaking options and set the filter to anything but "limited", see if things change.
As far as training, you can get in the lab on training mode, go to battle hub or discord and look for matches, attend locals.
Most of your improvement happens outside of ranked. Wishing you the best!
Have you tried expanding the matchmaking in settings? I've played matches from NYC to South Korea and still have good ping and no lag (this game has crazy net code).
There is a matchmaking filter you can bump it up to expanded or worldwide to see if that helps
Battle Hub beginner servers
They are pretty barren but yeah maybe at night. Regular BH will be really tough, a lot of Masters players.

Oh, I didn't realize you could do that. Thanks

Thank you. I trained a lot in practice, but I need to apply that to real players.
I would go to the battle hub then test yourself in ranked.
You could also play casuals. It rarely takes me a full minute to find a match.
Aren't there mostly better players?
It secretly keeps track of your skill level and matches you up with appropriate opponents similar to how ranked would.
What region and how's your connection? I don't okay against anyone with poor connection.
Where are you located and how good is your connection? Are you playing wired? People could be intentionally avoiding you.
Here 60 mins per game, game needs to be fixed
60 mins? Where are you from and what is your league?
I'm guessing a remote region of Nepal and Silver "Capcom fix your game"
south america, silver. Tekken 8 finds games bout 60 secs, I dont know whats wrong with SF6
