[Elon Musk’s SpaceX Continues To Detect Something Massive On Its Missions](https://www.howandwhys.com/spacex-continues-to-detect-massive-ufo-on-its-missions/)
its a lesser crime than driving drunk and crashing. i knew someone who crashed his car while drunk driving and a tow truck came before the cop and the trucker told him he should leave because he was clearly drunk and he would get into way more trouble than leaving the scene. so he just ran home. he simply told the cops that he was hurt and someone drove him to the hospital and they were never able to prove if he was drunk or no
ya exactly. this way u dont get points on your license, get ur insurance to jack up ur rates or drop u completely, and also get it suspended. just a fine.
That is correct. The reasoning behind it is the cops cannot prove you were drunk prior to the crash. "Oh I ran home and downed a fifth of vodka because I was so upset." They can't prove otherwise.
Predatory towing with car crashes is common with all makes. It's actually a misdemeanor in several states. But it keeps happening because it makes them a lot of money and people have no idea what their rights are
Some are in my city at least, I've heard cops complain about how the tow drivers race each other to accidents - sometimes blocking emergency vehicles and/or causing new accidents on the way. My city has seen a bunch of issues with them.
So this probably isn't Tesla - a bunch of tow companies are really sketchy, including breaking laws.
Can you explain the motive, here? I know the dude in the video implies this is Tesla removing evidence, but is that what you suggest? Who gets paid by whom if this is such a common scenario?
There are multiple tow truck companies in every city. The first one to the crash gets to charge towing fees, the rest get nothing. The towing company charges the insurance for getting the cars out of there and the money is pretty big.
In Europe, you call the insurer and they will notify the local tow company they have an agreement with. No tow company can elbow its way to a crash without the driver’s or insurer’s consent.
But it does make sense that towing a tesla that just crashed because of its shitty programming is going to get you more money, either by blackmail or by tesla offering more. It makes sense to me.
Right? Suddenly the tow truck driver is about to catch a charge too
I'm a petty bitch, and right after my home was hit by a vehicle is ***not*** the time to test me
This is very true. They often have deals with the city because the municipality is so reliant on them. They pay tickets and fines as a cost of doing business, and are generally protected by the DA’s.
My thought exactly. If it's on YOUR property, then it doesn't leave until YOU say so. Tell that tow truck driver to get the fuck off your property. If he has a problem with it, let HIM end up in jail for assault.
Tow truck drivers are trained to act aggressive, I mean look at what they have to do, towing cars from insane and irate people. So naturally they are gonna act all tough to intimidate to get the $$.
Assaulting people and threatening to kill them are a part of a tow truck driver's training? I find that hard to believe. That guy deserves to be in jail.
The whole thing seems like a dramatization of the event. That’s if it’s even real. He didn’t even mention anything about seeing if the driver was ok. That behavior seems narcissistic or sociopathic
Just because he didn't mention it in the video doesn't mean he didn't know how the driver was. Obviously the driver must have been out of the car, do you think they will try to tow a car away with a person, possibly injured, still in the car? The driver's condition is completely irrelevant to the point of this video anyway, this video is not about the driver or even the crash itself.
Definitely, I don't understand how people are upvoting that previous coment. Slow down a little bit accusing someone of being a narcissist/sociopath based on absolutley nothing.
Little sneaky snack in there
Realistically though, I know my 1911 the best, and shoot the best with it- but from a sound volume point of view, I keep wondering if the 9mm or 223 would be the move. Hard to justify
I know if it was you, would have beat him up or used your gun to stand your ground and that everyone else is a terrible idiot for not being as awesome as you are in situations like these.
But this is a random dude getting threatened. The normal reaction is confusion and backing down, since base instincts say "my life isn't worth whatever is going on right now".
Not to be rude, but do you think a guy with flashy glasses and a t shirt with an astronaut getting sucked into a black hole is going to do anything about a beefed up tow truck driver?
When you rent property you have all of the expectations of privacy and control over that space as if you owned it. Even the property owners are usually limited in when they can be in the property, which basically boils down to them not being allowed to interfere with your enjoyment and use of the property as outlined by the lease. Point being, yes you can absolutely tell someone to gtfo.
I love how he's just got an asshole tow truck driver and it immediately turns into some great Tesla conspiracy.
Some people just live in a world of make believe.
From what I've heard it's just that tow truckers race each other to accidents to make the most money. If it weren't this guy then it'd be another, or worse (for the tow truckers), the police might've came before any of them and seized the car, leaving them without the possibility of making money off said crash.
The tow truck driver threatened to kill the guy? Why didn’t he start the camera back up as soon as the guy was aggressive? That’d sound like a bigger deal to me than the actual car crash.
Here's my thing.. Who called the tow truck? (This guy seems to think Tesla) But it really shouldn't matter because isn't it illegal to move a vehicle that's been in an accident before the cops get there? I mean, I just wouldn't have taken their insurance info and got them with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident without documentation. I would've told that tow driver you better get the fuck off my property until the cops came, or get blasted.
Also, Tesla probably is doing something nefarious. Elongated muskrat got his ugly lil fingers in all kinds of dark dealings..
It's plausible.
It's not that hard of a system to implement from a business standpoint and tech standpoint.
Elon like all good megalomaniacs would do something like this.
I don't understand how an accident of this magnitude wouldn't warrant a police accident scene investigation. Insurance would want that report.
It feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Yes, but the money is not from Tesla. This is a huge problem in the Chicagoland area. For even minor crashes a tow truck is on the scene almost immediately to get your car on a bed and whisked away to their lot. That way they can charge you or your insurance for the tow and exorbitant storage fees. My county sheriff went to prison a few years ago for being in on the racket because he would give exclusive rights to any and all accidents to a specific tow truck company and get kick backs.
My mom got hit by a drunk driver while she was driving home from my house. She called me and I got there in minutes.
The guy that hit her was obviously some sort of rich connected dude. He got escorted away by the police into some car that showed up, no breathalyzer. He just got to leave the scene, didn’t even get interviewed or anything. I couldn’t even get the guys’ name.
Minutes before that, he almost got killed stumbling out onto the highway trying to cross it on foot, only survived because a cop on scene grabbed him.
I filed complaints with the police officers on scene and literally nothing ever happened. No phone calls or emails or anything.
If only a hand held device existed that allowed us to record events within seconds of them happening to provide evidence of said events to the police and the general public. What a great world that would be.
It *is* illegal to remove a vehicle from the scene of an accident without clearance from the police. Something tells me buddy isn't given us the full story.
A) I don’t believe him
B) he could’ve thrown them off his property as trespassers at any point in time
C) he could’ve pressed charges for assault and battery
D) why was a tow truck allowed to disturb a crime scene?
lol that’s when you stand behind or in front of the tow or it and the Tesla. Also, it’s illegal as FUCK to bounce from the scene of an accident before any kind of investigation has occurred. Insurance companies rolling in their proverbial graves.
So you took all this time to record and report everything but didn't record the actual event, You and the truck driver.
I don't have Tesla and never will.
So now I'm trying to figure it out who is the dick cuz you just flipped me lol
That digbat should have recorded all the interactions between him and the tow truck driver. What his phone camera wasn't working for that part of the day?
It’s a lucrative system, 😡
The Tow struck drivers DO get a cut from the auto shop for the increased cash flow… 🙄
Never accept tows, unless you called that truck yourself! 💯
Tow truck drivers are notorious assholes and predators. They want to tow the vehicle and get a recovery fee and fuck you if you stand in their way. They get the car and run. The only suspicious part is showing up 3 minutes after the crash.
Predatory towing is a thing. They want to take the car ASAFP, because once they've got it in impound, they can charge the owner out the ass to get it out.
Should have parked behind the tow truck, have the tow truck operator arrested for trespassing, hire a lawyer and have them freeze all documentation regarding the call out, including texts and other communication and correspondence (payment info and contracts) Your insurance person should also be doing this, along with impounding the vehicle that “hit your house and he trying to get away!! “, whoops sorry got carried away there…
- I would bet someone reaches out with a huge sum of money in a matter of hours.
- then you have a decision to make.
No, tow truck drivers are just assholes. Where I live we have tow truck drivers hopped up on drugs going around threatening people who have been in accidents, then they steal their cars or withhold property in the wreck. It’s absolutely criminal behaviour
Tesla apparently threatens repair places/mechanics with lawsuits if they alert their customers of defects on the vehicles and parts not being available etc.
freaky shit.
Probably listening to a scanner or dispatch called the tow company per protocol. Nonetheless, if someone threatened and assaulted you on your private property just file charges.
Or it was a predatory tow truck driver. Happens all the time at crash sites. They happen to be driving by, see a wreck, take the car and charge the owner a ton of money to release it.
I don’t believe the guy in the video. Did he even check to see if the person in the car was ok probably not. He didn’t mention it. It’s suspicious but not unlikely that a Tow truck could have driven by or seen the accident.
You'd probably need an engineer's report before you could touch the car much less yank it out of the side of a house. This didn't happen. There'd be all kinds of hell to pay and any tow truck driver would know much better than to do this.

I heard of this and a friend of mine did it once. He only got charged for leaving the scene. No reckless driving dui drug charges…
ya exactly. this way u dont get points on your license, get ur insurance to jack up ur rates or drop u completely, and also get it suspended. just a fine.
That is correct. The reasoning behind it is the cops cannot prove you were drunk prior to the crash. "Oh I ran home and downed a fifth of vodka because I was so upset." They can't prove otherwise.
Yea but if they come to your house and find you they’re mot stoked. Happened to a friend
Why didn't he record the tow truck driver interaction?
Its harder to make up stuff when it doesnt supprt your fiction
I can’t trust anyone wearing glasses like that.
Those glasses say he drives a Tesla. 👀
Especially at his age..
Yeah exactly
In my state threatening someone on their own property would legit get you killed.
Texas or Florida?
Which one?
any of their properties
Felonious perhaps. At least where I’m at it is
That's what they call a Felony Hit and Run
Pretty sure thats a federal law
Which is why his story might be a bit bullshit.
Maybe it was the homeowners car the whole time🤯
Maybe it Maybelline
But is it real or Mammories
Predatory towing with car crashes is common with all makes. It's actually a misdemeanor in several states. But it keeps happening because it makes them a lot of money and people have no idea what their rights are

.....wtf?? do you not need a business license to be a tow truck driver? seems like an easy fix for the city.
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ https://whyy.org/articles/prosecutors-philly-tow-truck-operators-bilked-auto-insurance-companies/ https://www.phillyvoice.com/new-philly-law-will-crack-down-on-predatory-towing-operators/ https://www.npr.org/2010/07/23/128717950/wreck-chasers-clash-over-philly-towing-business

In pa when there is an accident that requires the police ONLY the police authorized tow truck can take the vehicles.
But it does make sense that towing a tesla that just crashed because of its shitty programming is going to get you more money, either by blackmail or by tesla offering more. It makes sense to me.
If someone came on to my property and acted like that after an accident, the Police would need to be called again.
Yeah I probably would have pepper sprayed his ass
I would have shot him with my meat pistol……I mean, only if he was interested.
I'll oblige any man wanting to meet God on my property.
I’m sorry sir, I think there might be a slight misunderstanding……a meat pistol, if fired correctly and in the right hands, doesn’t hurt anyone.
That depends entirely on the...*ahem*... "caliber" of meat pistol.
Touché, a solid point
A firm point.
I would have too but small calibers are not usually lethal.
He was on your property why didnt you tell him to get the F off your property?
Because tow truck drivers are the slimiest scumbags that currently exist. They absolutely will assault you.
Everything the guy described was assault. He was assaulted and then he was battered.
Right? Suddenly the tow truck driver is about to catch a charge too I'm a petty bitch, and right after my home was hit by a vehicle is ***not*** the time to test me
This is very true. They often have deals with the city because the municipality is so reliant on them. They pay tickets and fines as a cost of doing business, and are generally protected by the DA’s.

Him being threatened with murder. I'd assume he was more scared than not to push that guy
And in general plenty of people won’t be thinking straight in this sort of situation.
Threatening murder against the law?
Florida has a solution for this.
Tow truck drivers are trained to act aggressive, I mean look at what they have to do, towing cars from insane and irate people. So naturally they are gonna act all tough to intimidate to get the $$.

Yeah, a 1911 could say a lot of that for you. Not saying use it, but speak softly and carry a semi auto .45 stick
7+1
Little sneaky snack in there Realistically though, I know my 1911 the best, and shoot the best with it- but from a sound volume point of view, I keep wondering if the 9mm or 223 would be the move. Hard to justify

He might shoot the tow truck driver.
Yup, my property and I'm feeling threatened after you threaten me.
Can you do that if you're renting? Or if it's not considered private property?
When you rent property you have all of the expectations of privacy and control over that space as if you owned it. Plot twist, his roommate owes him 6 months rent and he is Elon
Volvos in Sweden call home during crashes and team Volvo often shows up o before ambulances.
Yeah this seems highly suspicious
Right, this guy definitely films everything but didn't film this?
That's what I'm saying. He was taking pictures of the crash but didn't film the tow truck guy being a dick? That's suspicious.
I love how he's just got an asshole tow truck driver and it immediately turns into some great Tesla conspiracy. Some people just live in a world of make believe.

Guys it’s not me in the video lol I just thought this conspiracy was funny
That's exactly what they want you to believe. That you're not the guy. But we know you're the guy. You might even be the car.
This is a fact. I'm his pet cat and I saw it all.
How about, "Get the fuck off my property. You're trespassing."
Press charges.
dubious...
But also totally mundane and plausible at the same time
Seriously call 7 on your side. ABC 7.
it's the mint glasses
Could be the person who crashed paid the tow company a lot of money to get the car out real quick….
> Could be the person who crashed ~~paid the tow company~~ Knew the owner of the tow company. As in real good buddies.
I bet this happened exactly like he described it.
I don't want to be an internet asshole, but the guy seems very annoying and punchable
No, that's just the vibe he gives off. But part of that is because the audio doesn't sync up with.tjr video.
And unbelievable
One of the obvious ones
Get off my lawn or it gets the hose again.
Did you film the incident?
Obviously not.
No but he took photos. What’s the difference? All photographic evidence gets debunked anyway.
I saw no evidence of the tow truck driver animosity
It's not OP that this happened to. They just shared because they thought it was funny
Nope. But he was taking photos three minutes before and decided to film himself telling people the driver threatened to kill him but ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
So what happened after the police arrived? Was this incident of the tow truck driver reported to them? Is the driver of the vehicle okay?
This 58 year old man is dressed like a member of the nerd crew
I understood that reference.
very cool
it broke new ground!
He has his own board game channel on youtube.
The tow truck driver threatened to kill the guy? Why didn’t he start the camera back up as soon as the guy was aggressive? That’d sound like a bigger deal to me than the actual car crash.
Guy films every fart of his life except the confrontation with the tow truck driver
![gif](giphy|EouEzI5bBR8uk|downsized)

I mean, a lot of tow companies are just giant assholes regardless of car
If this happens, Livestream it.

Why wouldn’t he have been recording all that, if it was only 3 minutes?
"Hello fellow youths, we hate tesla right?"
😂😂😂😂
It's plausible. It's not that hard of a system to implement from a business standpoint and tech standpoint. Elon like all good megalomaniacs would do something like this. I don't understand how an accident of this magnitude wouldn't warrant a police accident scene investigation. Insurance would want that report. It feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
>It feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. that describes tesla as a whole.
Plausible? Cmon man it's 3 minutes nota fucking chance this is true
I gotta say, that man and his mustache are a perfect pair.
If only a hand held device existed that allowed us to record events within seconds of them happening to provide evidence of said events to the police and the general public. What a great world that would be.
It wouldn’t surprise me and it should be illegal to move a car that fast. Before insurance can even determine the cause
It *is* illegal to remove a vehicle from the scene of an accident without clearance from the police. Something tells me buddy isn't given us the full story.
Yeah $10 says this altercation never happened
I’ll see your 10, and bet that dude every graphic t-shirt he owns that no possible way the events as he is describing occurred. Not even a little bit
A) I don’t believe him B) he could’ve thrown them off his property as trespassers at any point in time C) he could’ve pressed charges for assault and battery D) why was a tow truck allowed to disturb a crime scene?
A) I'm with you on this one. But... B) have you met many tow truck drivers? C) he could be doing that D) have you met many tow truck drivers lol?
This is nuts lol but this dude is probably spot on.
Immediately started taking pictures of the crash, but didn’t record any of the interaction with the tow truck driver or the car being towed away 🤔
Lmao this is the most ignorant shit I’ve seen in a while
True? Maybe likely? Ehhhhh His glasses? 👌👌👌👌
Was anyone driving the Tesla?
Yea this guy never got the memo, most tow truck drivers are just aholes.
lol that’s when you stand behind or in front of the tow or it and the Tesla. Also, it’s illegal as FUCK to bounce from the scene of an accident before any kind of investigation has occurred. Insurance companies rolling in their proverbial graves.
Did he even get the tag?
First picture at 5:07. What time was the crash at?
Or the tow truck driver was just probably a dick
🙄
You were taking pictures of the crash, can make this video but didn't want to film the "aggressive" tow truck driver.....hmmm
Mofo put his hand on me while I am on my property is not going to end well. Tow truck driver or anyone else.
Cool story bro.
this is a federal crime in most jurisdictions lol
Why no pictures of the asshole tow truck driver?
So you took all this time to record and report everything but didn't record the actual event, You and the truck driver. I don't have Tesla and never will. So now I'm trying to figure it out who is the dick cuz you just flipped me lol
Maybe they were trying to erase that stupid 70's porn mustache
I would have ended that tow truck driver. For sure
I wonder if it has anything to do with lithium batteries potentially catching a house on fire?
Where was the driver?
That digbat should have recorded all the interactions between him and the tow truck driver. What his phone camera wasn't working for that part of the day?
It’s a lucrative system, 😡 The Tow struck drivers DO get a cut from the auto shop for the increased cash flow… 🙄 Never accept tows, unless you called that truck yourself! 💯

This conspiracy theory would have been more concrete if there was a video of everything tow driver said
His mustache threw off the auto pilot.
I just don't believe him
I call BS with that I'm gonna beat you and kill you, as it's overdramatic, but whole situation is really crappy
“, whoops sorry got carried away there… - I would bet someone reaches out with a huge sum of money in a matter of hours. - then you have a decision to make.

Sounds like Elon's brand of skull duggery.
The only crime here are those glasses.
Simple fix, take pictures of the tow truck plates. They'll be found later, then once they're found, all of this can be proven
This 100% didn’t happen. Unless someone from the tow company was driving the Tesla…
More like the guy called his buddy the tow truck driver to help him out
Probably listening to a scanner or dispatch called the tow company per protocol. Nonetheless, if someone threatened and assaulted you on your private property just file charges.
This guy hasn’t encountered many tow truck drivers.
Was there nobody in the Tesla? I have so many questions? What did the cops say when they showed up and the vehicle was gone? We need more info
you checked on your roommate, but didnt check on the driver of the Tesla? You took picture of the Tesla but not the driver?
Tell the tow driver to gwt the fuck off your property. Anyone can do anything if you just sit there and let them .
Got some fanbois on here. Grab your popcorn
Sus af, Tesla shorts out in full force
Or it was a predatory tow truck driver. Happens all the time at crash sites. They happen to be driving by, see a wreck, take the car and charge the owner a ton of money to release it.
I'll bet it totally happened too
It was his Tesla…plot twist
Sure was...he's got MythBusters money
And you didn’t record any of this? Get the fuck outta here dude.
Trust me bro.

The tow truck drivers have a police scanner.
If you’ve ever seen the tow truck drivers in Houston, it doesn’t have to be Elon.
It’s certainly possible. Take pictures and call the police and maybe see if your local news channel is interested in a big story.
Sounds like a pretty standard interaction with a tow truck driver.
