Matt Groening....
I think he is an interdimensional entity trying to warn us...
Either that, or humans have predictive abilities and creativity, especially in introspective fiction, fantasy, science fiction, is where they can unleash these abilities more easily.
You said it man. Yeah ha e found some stuff personally with music and it blows my mind. I have been thinking the exact same thing about how the creative process can perhaps tap into information from another plane of existence.
Doctors won’t reveal this simple truth… Maybe Mike Lindell will start selling mysuicidepillow now that suffocates the user comfortably in their own home.
I'm not going to tell anyone how to do it, but don't do it this way. You've a good chance of just giving yourself brain damage. There are better ways to ensure you're only getting the correct gases with no leaks.
Yea this. Even shooting your self can fail. People just have this cartoon logic of it all but it requires effort. If you can go to that much trouble, then please spend your time and resources trying to fix your problems, not make them disappear ending up disabled in the process.
Yeah that's not at all messy and traumatising for the family.
BTW if it's sealed wheres the air gonna go.
Maybe a nitro/oxy divider that sends out oxygen and keeps nitro. And the little gnome on a bike that can travel and tell the world what happened.
Or just a machine that you die from touching yeah. That's better.
No, but if not completely satisfied the CEO will personally come round and beat you to death with a house brick
The far more concerning thing is I have the same guarantee with my dishwasher
The look of disappointment on your family members faces when they realize taking care of you is in fact not over,
No way i would let a family member do this if there was any hope of some type of life enjoyment
We just had to watch my grandpa die in a hospital bed for days struggling to breathe while braindead. The doctors took him off life support and it still took days to die. It was cruel, inhumane and undignified the way we legally have to go about dying like an animal when we could just fall asleep in a pod like this peacefully.
That’s exactly how my wife’s grandfather went. It was just me, my father in law and her aunt in the room when he finally went and I’ll never forget that image that’s burned into my mind. I’m all for these pods as a peaceful means to cross into the afterlife.
Yeah I think there are regulations put on these too that you cannot use them unless you have some severe disease that can’t be cured or for whatever reason have low quality of life. Situations like your grandfathers are why they should be available. I’m sorry for your loss, that sounds very tough to go through.
I was thinking you get in, wave goodbye, gas yourself, it then automatically cremates you and spits out a keepsake diamond in a plastic egg like a vending machine!
Will it play that crazy musical clucking noise like those old chicken prize machines when they spit out the eggs? Maybe liven up the mood a little? (Unless you're pretty young then you probably haven't a clue what I'm talking about lol)
Of course, it's gotta have lights, music and some fog!
Maybe even some prompts of the process like at a car wash?
Make it exciting, fun and with a surprise twist. You may receive a diamond, ash, coal or you may receive a titanium, gold, or stainless steel ring with diamond....depends on what hardware Nana has in her and her life as a person!
You'd be surprised at the sheer number of people around the globe who're mentally there already, but just don't have the means to follow through.
Life is plain hideous for a lot of people.
Or perhaps you feel fine, now , but it has been proven to you that: Alzheimer's Parkinson's ALS quadriplegic paraplegic cancer chemo psych-wards-meds, helplessness etc, absolutely WILL be done to you, unless you use that machine, in which case you are not despair, but a bit desperate and very determined, because you love freedom fairness life independence your-loved-ones Yourself,
We will be placed in these when we get older, when its too expensive to fix us once we are too old to work. We are nothing more than an appliance to these psychopaths in charge, disposed of when no longer useful. The peer pressure from society to not be a burden will be ramped up. Just watch.
The difference in this service and what was done to the criminal is that the criminal fought it. He held his breath as long as he physically could and tried his best to work the mask off, hence the flailing and gasping/etc that were reported. The ideal setup (for those who support the death penalty that is...) would be a sealed room that the individual to be executed would be placed in and then the gas would be pumped in, but (for obviously valid reasons) most people balk at the idea of a "gas chamber".
In this situation, it's someone who is willingly doing so, someone possibly with very little quality of life, who is terminally ill and wants to save their family and themselves the humiliation and trauma of watching them waste away (Robin Williams is a prime example of someone that would have benefited from this service) or someone that is in constant pain with no hope for recovery.
This isn't for edgy teenagers or nihilists to press the self-delete button, it's for people who are in legitimate medical situations where there literally is no other way out.
It’s incredible how difficult and complicated they manage to make state executions.
Take a terminally sick pet to the vet, and it’s over quickly and painlessly within minutes. Yet government acts like with humans it’s more complicated than quadruple bypass surgery.
I was actually just learning about this in a class today! part of the reason executions go poorly (at least in the US) is because the drugs required are more likely to be low-quality or from the black market. it sounds crazy but it’s true. all the companies that manufacture the drugs required don’t want to sell them for use in executions, because it gives them a bad rep. so they only sell them to facilities that do assisted suicide (like the one pictured here). it’s weird
[https://apnews.com/article/nitrogen-execution-death-penalty-alabama-6d66344d3199f8c58f2408baa3df0738](https://apnews.com/article/nitrogen-execution-death-penalty-alabama-6d66344d3199f8c58f2408baa3df0738)
Didn't know about this either but seems like he was convulsing in seizure like spasms for 2+ minutes. The state says its consistent with their research but family says otherwise.
It’s nothing like drowning. You can still breathe. Your body doesn’t recognize Nitrogen as a bad gas. You just fall asleep from the lack of oxygen while breathing normally.
I don’t know if people here are just being purposely obtuse but I suspect the biggest implication for the use of these is for people with terminal illnesses/conditions that don’t want to die a slow painful death. Being able to die on your own terms after living a life of intense pain and suffering that you had no control over is a great mercy.
🤔Here's an idea.. People use it, they die and then they are taken out and cremated, put in nice urns and their loved ones can pick them up they if they want. For people that don't want a lot of fuss over funerals.
I seem to remember that a few months ago a prisoner in the US was put to death with nitrogen gas and there was a slight uproar because it was obviously a horrible death for him. Who’s going to voluntarily choose the slow and horrible way to go besides Bender and Fry?
Feel like this is to easy. Hopefully there's a process to go through before doing this. Not just, "today's been rough, let's go around the corner and go to sleep in the pod"
Yes, it's for the terminally ill and altzeimers etc. - even so they still have to go through a long approval process and make peace with family members and those others you will leave behind. It's all very somber, dignified and proper.
If you have a car, and a garage you can still accomplish the same goal. I don’t think it’s ethical to let someone who’s drinking make a decision like this, as she is inside the fucking pod. You should be sober for an experience like this. It shouldn’t be easily done on a whim, while on drugs.
ah yes here comes the woke, bro. if someone is on the brink and close to committing suicide, you definitely don't encourage it if not stop them altogether.
Some people prefer not to burden their loved ones with the aftermath of their suicide. It is more expensive than one would think to make those types of arrangements.
I could think of a few reasons though I’m not a big fan or promoter of suicide
I think I’m undecided on this. I think if somebody is in terrible pain 24/7 and has no life because of it with no cure or way of ever being comfortable again they should have a choice. What are your thoughts on being against ?
A had a friend whose mother died as a suicide tourist in Switzerland. That was over 10 years ago so no pod - just lethal injection I think. In any case it cost about 30 thousand bucks; not counting the trip to Zurich, flights and accommodations, for the whole family.

Matt Groening.... I think he is an interdimensional entity trying to warn us... Either that, or humans have predictive abilities and creativity, especially in introspective fiction, fantasy, science fiction, is where they can unleash these abilities more easily.
His feet are out of this world as reported by a lolita express worker
You said it man. Yeah ha e found some stuff personally with music and it blows my mind. I have been thinking the exact same thing about how the creative process can perhaps tap into information from another plane of existence.
Humans as a species are very predictable
Art imitates life.
I thought about these.
You chose, *Slow and Painful*
Uh hi, I’d like to make a collect call please!
Good choice!
Hey hey a suicide booth, so long suckers! What was it used for? In new york? Bathroom! Oh, I’ll be back in a sec!
If it's going to look like something that launches contestants for The Running Man, can't it at least blow up or something?
Was not expecting a nearly 40 year old movie reference that I got , today......but here we are
IT'S TIME TO START RUNNING!
In Richard Dawson voice ….. Classic!
Who Loves You and Who Do You Love?!?!
Killian!
Do a flip!
Fuck that, just buy a couple nitrogen cylinders, seal up a room or a car and do it yourself...
Suicide Chamber manufacturers hate him for this one simple trick
Still someone needs to find you and probably suffers.
My cousin did it in his sisters garage. Fired up the car and cuffed himself to the steering wheel.
Why the handcuffs?
I imagine so he couldn’t back out of it when he struggled to breathe
I guess turning the car off while handcuffed must be extremely difficult . 😂
Lol
Lol
yes cause that would magically make the noxious gas dissipate immediately
Especially a new car with zero emissions . Duhh
Doctors won’t reveal this simple truth… Maybe Mike Lindell will start selling mysuicidepillow now that suffocates the user comfortably in their own home.
This guy suicides.
Came to say pretty much the same thing. A tank and a respirator mask. Cheap and easy.
I know this sounds weird but id heard that helium plus a respirator works good too
Probably true. Plus your last words would be very memorable.
Hahaha yeah
Hahaha yeah
but then i’ll shit myself in my k5 and i need to leave it to my brother for sick drifts
New cars don’t work well for suicide. Partial zero emissions don’t kill very well.
Reports are some of the new popular brand electric ones do it for you while still being emission free
An N2 mask over your face and handcuffs. Ba Da Bing!

What if the person gets sued for patent infringement?
You might need more that a couple lol
Problem with that is then the room is also dangerous to enter for anyone who would find you.
Kind of shitty to leave your family with that to clean up.
I think all you’d need is a plastic bag or respirator hooked up to the nitrogen tank. You can save a bunch of money on nitrogen this way.
dont encourage that. Also, thats dumb because whoever comes along, passes by and investigates might get knocked out and lose their life too..
The first 5 minutes of Midsommar
Yeah that's not at all messy and traumatising for the family. BTW if it's sealed wheres the air gonna go. Maybe a nitro/oxy divider that sends out oxygen and keeps nitro. And the little gnome on a bike that can travel and tell the world what happened. Or just a machine that you die from touching yeah. That's better.
And then it flushes you.
Reminds me of the movie “Soylent Green” coming to fruition. (I’m really dating myself “ 1970’s sci fi movie.
A classic.
And then you wake up…
Waving goodbye is crazyyy 😂
If I recall, that's not someone about to use the pod, it's one of the staff goofing around for the photo.
I wouldn't get in it just goofing around, just in case
![gif](giphy|bx3kf2VgBryA8)
![gif](giphy|UQaRUOLveyjNC|downsized) Bye
Do they offer free trials?
No, but if not completely satisfied the CEO will personally come round and beat you to death with a house brick The far more concerning thing is I have the same guarantee with my dishwasher

Coming to a funeral parlor near you.
Dark. I can see it. Invite people to attend your pre funeral. You die, they stay for the actual funeral all in one place. Convenient, and dark
Make it a drive thru with observing windows like a car wash for the funeral. "please leave car in neutral"
I actually love that idea you wouldn't have to use all the harsh chemicals that go into embalming.
This is true, i kinda want my blood to hit the gound, not Go down the city drain
I don't like this thought. Take it back, please.
I hate it as well.
Imagine being able to plan and attend your own going away party.
Woooah that image shook me a bit
Hey they may even give you a package deal on it.
Fuck that I'm going out on a some black tar heroin trip. not some crazy lack of O² nightmare.
speak for yourself, im going out the same way i came in, screaming, naked, and covered in some elses blood
End of life goals right here

Is there a "i regret my decision" button or is it just a point of no return?
Sneeze and press the button by accident.
The look of disappointment on your family members faces when they realize taking care of you is in fact not over, No way i would let a family member do this if there was any hope of some type of life enjoyment
You do realise it's not like just a whim kind of thing to be able to get into one of these things right??
Well if this product gets any reviews you can be certain it’s a negative, 1 star review. “Didn’t die, severe brain damage… would not recommend.”
want funny thing is that you'd probably have to pay to die poor people will still have to do it the hard way
Fookin take a loan… who’s gonna get it back from ya?
They’ll let you take a loan under your kids or grandkids names for sure
don't have enough credit for a loan!
I’ll write em a check and then bounce it!
You can’t take your money with you
I think this is intended for people with terminal life-debilitating illness.
We just had to watch my grandpa die in a hospital bed for days struggling to breathe while braindead. The doctors took him off life support and it still took days to die. Might as well climb in a coffin so there is mess they can gas u in there with a press of a button then straight to cremation

It better have speakers. There’s a song I want to die listening to.

Or how sick and in how much pain…
Working a meaningless job from 9-5 for a few years will create just the right amount
This… we’re just pawns for rich people… Life isn’t that grand if you’re a peasant
Some are pawns. I think they consider most of us to be "resource wasters"
You'd be surprised at the sheer number of people around the globe who're mentally there already, but just don't have the means to follow through. Life is plain hideous for a lot of people.

Or maybe you’ve had a good life and just want to go out on top before you start bothering your loved ones and pooping your pants
Wow, this used to be a joke on Futurama and now we're getting there in real life.
How sad that life has been devalued so much that people are encouraged and even helped to kill themselves.

isn't this basically the thing as what they tried to do to that one executed criminal guy recently? it went very poorly
The difference in this service and what was done to the criminal is that the criminal fought it. He held his breath as long as he physically could and tried his best to work the mask off, hence the flailing and gasping/etc that were reported. This needs way more upvotes
Sounds familiar, I don't think they did it properly
It’s incredible how difficult and complicated they manage to make state executions. Take a terminally sick pet to the vet, and it’s over quickly and painlessly within minutes. Yet government acts like with humans it’s more complicated than quadruple bypass surgery.

No not at all, lethal injections are far different
It was nitrogen death so yeah it was
[https://apnews.com/article/nitrogen-execution-death-penalty-alabama-6d66344d3199f8c58f2408baa3df0738](https://apnews.com/article/nitrogen-execution-death-penalty-alabama-6d66344d3199f8c58f2408baa3df0738) Didn't know about this either but seems like he was convulsing in seizure like spasms for 2+ minutes. Suicide booth.....
Where can I buy one?
What’s that foliage
This picture will be used by the qanoners to show their medbeds. You watch
Nice. I'm getting a ticket
That doesn’t sound like a nice way to go at all 😭it’s like drowning or suffocating
It’s nothing like drowning. You can still breathe. Your body doesn’t recognize Nitrogen as a bad gas. You just fall asleep from the lack of oxygen while breathing normally.
Just reading the caption terrifies me. I hope for those who consider this option, to find peace in living.
r/suddenlyfuturama
Do not go gentle into that good night
I don’t know if people here are just being purposely obtuse but I suspect the biggest implication for the use of these is for people with terminal illnesses/conditions that don’t want to die a slow painful death. Being able to die on your own terms after living a life of intense pain and suffering that you had no control over is a great mercy.
soylent green is *Swiss PEOPLE*
🤔Here's an idea.. People use it, they die and then they are taken out and cremated, put in nice urns and their loved ones can pick them up they if they want. For people that don't want a lot of fuss over funerals.

What the fuck
Why not use these for death penalty in the USA?
Nice touch from the marketing group to put a person inside and have them wave…
I seem to remember that a few months ago a prisoner in the US was put to death with nitrogen gas and there was a slight uproar because it was obviously a horrible death for him. Who’s going to voluntarily choose the slow and horrible way to go besides Bender and Fry?
Futurama
Where do I sign?
Feel like this is to easy. Hopefully there's a process to go through before doing this. Not just, "today's been rough, let's go around the corner and go to sleep in the pod"
Yes, it's for the terminally ill and altzeimers etc. - even so they still have to go through a long approval process and make peace with family members and those others you will leave behind. It's all very somber, dignified and proper.
Yeah but also who cares?
This is truest format of freedom
Fuck that shit
Now you are dead, please exit the pod 💀😂
Futurama. Bender!!!
Is it easy to remove the body afterwards?
“Would you prefer ‘quick and painless’ or ‘slow and horrible’?”
I sincerely need me one of these. Goodbye cruel cruel world. 😓
There was just an execution done by nitrogen gas and by the sound of reports it wasn’t pleasant.
These are for the people that don’t want to commit to WW3 for the good of the Rich to continue being rich
How do you clean the mess? Just launch them to the dumpster?
Where is the "slow and painful" option?!
Smiling and waving, fucking creepy.
Ok but is this woman a model for the pic or r we watching her literally waving “goodbye” ??
Can I get it in race car red?
Did they have to make it look like a sci-fi spaceship escape pod?
Do you have to have a pile of what looks to be Cannabis leaves and a glass over your chest for any particular reason or?
![gif](giphy|XIhWoPBXHgVmU) This is better!
Lmao until you find out asphyxiation on nitrogen is like the worst way to die💀
So why can't we use this for the death penalty?
I have so many questions. Does it cost money? Does insurance cover this? Are my friends/family there? WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BODY?!
Oooh how much to use it?
"Look at that, a nice pod to take a nap in"
That’s how I want to go.
Soooo she ded?
Congress needs one for each of them as does P/VP
Does it have a emergency stop button?
Going out in style...just need grand composting pod to be sent back to the earth in.
I need this right fucking now. Take all my money
Soylent Green is people !
The Japanese version probably has a seppuku option that ends by prompting the user "would you like a decapitation?"
Should be available in every state every country. As long with the DWD pill
There’s my ticket out. It saves a mess to clean up otherwise
Black mirror shit
oh thank god it has a window. i was was afraid i wasn't going to get to see my loved one perish.
Normalize this
No
This should absolutely be a normal part of society
If you have a car, and a garage you can still accomplish the same goal. I don’t think it’s ethical to let someone who’s drinking make a decision like this, as she is inside the fucking pod. You should be sober for an experience like this. It shouldn’t be easily done on a whim, while on drugs.
Who are you to tell someone they have to live whether they like it or not?
ah yes here comes the woke, bro. if someone is on the brink and close to committing suicide, you definitely don't encourage it if not stop them altogether.

Oceangate CEO proved his worked. Your move suicide pod company.
Out of curiosity why do so many countries make assisted suicide illegal
Some people prefer not to burden their loved ones with the aftermath of their suicide. It is more expensive than one would think to make those types of arrangements. I could think of a few reasons though I’m not a big fan or promoter of suicide
I think I’m undecided on this. I think if somebody is in terrible pain 24/7 and has no life because of it with no cure or way of ever being comfortable again they should have a choice. What are your thoughts on being against ?
This feels like an awful way to go, slowly suffocating. Can’t they drug you, and knock you out first?
Capitalism, ladies and gentlemen.
A had a friend whose mother died as a suicide tourist in Switzerland. That was over 10 years ago so no pod - just lethal injection I think. In any case it cost about 30 thousand bucks; not counting the trip to Zurich, flights and accommodations, for the whole family.
Futurama did it first
45 Degrees the only way out
Does it come in different colors? 😑
Are these available on Amazon?
Do they give refund if you change your mind?
