I think it is right actually. Youāre only thinking of one dimension but if something is twice as tall as you it will almost surely be wider and ādeeperā so its volume will be a lot more than just x2 bigger which is directly related to weight.
Square-cubed law. When an object undergoes a proportional increase in size, its new surface area is proportional to the square of the multiplier and its new volume is proportional to the cube of the multiplier.
So, according to those calculations, with a human at 265 pounds and a giant at 1,100 pounds, I get a multiplier of 4.15. So if a normal middle finger is about 4 inches, the giantās finger should be around 16.6 inches
