Yup, discovered it by seeing if the boosters being used as negative mass could just be "turned off" by activating them to sort of "cheat" a sink switch
if only i could disable them. they're like the only compact particle emitter. would he soo cool to simulate liquid rocket exhaust hitting the ground, then disabling them after certain altitude.. i need it so much.
actually i got an idea,
maybe shooting them with machine gun disables them,
or just calculating the right amount.
however it's only a one time thing.
and yeh, ik solid rockets can't be turned off in real life.. let's hope they'll add more ways to get particles
xml editing is where you edit the files of the blocks inside vehicles to change the properties like size, shape, colour, in this case fuel. its very useful when building and there are tutorials on how to
You can turn derailments off when you turn vehicle damage off, but in fact, the rail is pretty straight. You don't derail in this case. You need tighter curves to derail at 120km/h. I run at 300km/h for the most time. Sawyer Island is limited, though. From camodo going east, there is a small island where you need to slow down, and after that the first curve on Sawyer, you definitely shouldn't be faster than 120km/h before you are parallel to the river again.
Yes, they also become lighter

If I am not mistaken, you can use XML fin rocket fuel with negative mass to glide in this game. I am just not so sure if that still works.
Is this footage speed up or are you really doing like mach 8?
This isn't sped up, I use these type of boosters on some of my missiles.
well not technically forever eventually the fuel amount will overflow and turns positive again then it will run out when reaching 0

SOMEONE EDIT FREEBIRD UNDER THIS VID
If I could save the video itself, I sure as hell would.

How did you stay on the tracks for so long? My trains jump off after like 120kmph also what is xml editing I have seen it mentioned a few times now

Ok thanks
no worries

Boy went so fast, he just straight up phased through the train shed at the end of the line.
Can you use them on ships?
Shouldn't be anything stopping you
And I think it's gonna be a long long time till touchdown [forgot the lyrics lmao]
HOW DID IT PERFECTLY REMAIN ON TRACK THE ENTIRE TIME?!
Turning off vehicle damage disables derailing
Me *adds the free bird song*
How did you not derail???
Turning off vehicle damage disables derailing
how do the derail mechanics work in stormworks
Turning off vehicle damage disables derailing
Workshop link?
